Wakey Wakey's — Restaurant in Angleton

1st time here, and the guy that made my Beverage was awesome! He made it with care, and it tasted amazing!!

I got a cold brew with Caramel, Mocha, and Toffeenut... and with double cream!!! Super yummy.... though it was a bit pricey for the size... It was just over $5.00, but it was a nice treat!

I love the setup also... super quaint and homie... I could see myself chilling here for a few. And they have games to play and I thought that was really cool!

Nice place to have a coffee and chill!

Just got me a Mikey Way iced latte, and it was amazing!! Along with the hospitality that I get here, everything I go!! I love this coffee shop and I just met Nicole and she is so nice... I feel like we could chat for hours!! Thanks for being here and being so amazing!!

UPDATE 4.18.24 I got a frozen Mikey way, and it is soooo good!!! Super smooth texture! No big chunks of ice in it. So yum 😋 and they have espresso whip cream!!

I also tried the breakfast taco... I'm not a fan of how it is made... It's not like Pan Fried. just slapped together and sits in a crockpot like thing, so it gets a little soggy, in my opinion, and I don't...

So on 7/30 i had nice long day volunteering my time working outside In the heat, over in Rosenburg. After that i drove to Angleton which took about an hour. Needless to say I was tired and I needed to stay up for another 6 hours (by this time is was 6ish). I looked up a coffee shop expecting to find a Starbucks but none showed up, but WAKEY WAKEY did. So i decided to try them out and Im glad I did. At that time four people were working (Heather, Jasmine, Hunter and Elizabeth) all four were so kind, warm and friendly. I told them I needed to stay up for a little longer, but i had no idea what to order. They suggested the wakey wakey for the first time to keep me up....and man did it. Fast forward a Week, today where i went to Starbucks....their coffee couldnt compare to wakey wakey, I will be going back when im back in...

So I really like this place. Super cute inside. Old school and chill. Obsessed with the Nintendo table, lol. Haven't many complaints. However there is this one lady, in particular, that is newer that...kind of got under my skin a bit. I remember trying to purchase a cup of whip for my daughter. She said she could not/did not know how to ring that up for me (even though there were plenty others there to ask). Another time, I needed a spoon and asked her kindly for one. She said that they do not have any....This I, of course, knew to be untrue; therefore I asked another lady at the window and...would you know it, they had some. Smh...lol. Other than her, I have no other complaints. Would have rated a five star if not for...
