The Venue — Restaurant in Angola

The younger looking guy with the hat, is absolutely amazing. He makes any drink I've had so far, absolutely wonderful! And I love every sip! So does my fiance! We have only been here three times, and feel like we are very welcomed. We often hear songs that we can dance to , and we love to dance :). The one guy bartender with the hate, is absolutely welcoming. And so kind! And extremely creative with his drinks! I feel like this is most definitely the place to go to just feel like you can be yourself with no judgement. I love coming here and I really enjoy the bartender we often get! My fiance and I both think he's a wonderful guy! Thank you for making this feel like a place we can come to and feel like we can enjoy ourselves!!! And thank you to the wonderful bartender that makes amazing fruity drinks for us! Please tell him that he's doing amazing! He deserves a raise ;) thank you guys for such a wonderful atmosphere ! And thank you for the fruity drinks that continue to surprise us with great taste Everytime we come it !!!!

The amount of people that have been roofied at this bar is insane. Last weekend at least 3 people were drugged. One of my friends was completely incoherent and bleeding bc they fell and the bouncer threw him out while yelling racist comments. They ended up in the hospital with a broken jaw and his blood alcohol level was 0 so the they had drink was definitely drugged. This is also not the first time a friend has been drugged here. In the fall this also happened and when she told the bartender who she thought it may have been they told that person and put her in danger AGAIN. There is a very clear complete disregard for their customers safety and it has become a real issue. As someone who worked in a restaurant these matters are normally taken very seriously and I have not seen any kind of response from The Venue. At this point it is an unplace safe to drink and I would tell everyone men and women (because I have friend of both genders who have been roofied) to avoid it for...

I was there and only had two drinks. Came back in and saw an acquaintance and said hello. I was immediately told if I was going to start drama that I had to leave. I was very confused but I complied and tried to walk away. The bouncer started screaming at me saying I needed to leave now and I tried to explain that I hadn’t done anything. I was very scared, ran into the bathroom because he wasn’t listening. He chased me to the bathroom and started screaming. The girl I met in the bathroom tried explaining to him that I needed a ride home and that I hadn’t done anything. The bouncer was screaming and cursing waiting for me outside the bathroom. I knew I had no choice but to come back out and he used excesssive and unnecessary force dragging me and pushing me out screaming at me. I just kept asking why and what did I do.
