i ordered via doordash and the restaurant waited until my dasher arrived to finally start on our order and then called us and told us to cancel the order because they were completely out of cinnamon rolls. first off, i know they could have turned off their delivery service apps if they were out of them and unable to complete orders. second off, the girl on the phone was incredibly rude and argumentative trying to tell me that i had to cancel the order on my end, which isn’t true. i asked her if she could cancel it herself because it was the stores mistake and i didn’t want to risk getting a negative mark on my doordash account given the dasher was already there. the employee did was not helpful or pleasant in the slightest and proceeded to tell her coworker while still on the phone “i guess they just don’t want the order anymore” and sounded annoyed about it- why would i want it if they were unable to fulfill a 76 dollar order and how would that even work? it’s a cinnamon roll restaurant and they were out of cinnamon rolls, i am beyond confused about how she was expecting me to be okay with that situation. i don’t know if i’ll be back strictly due to the poor...
Read moreSo I went in here for the first time, right from the start I was a little disappointed. I choose the "create your own cinnamon roll" option from the board. The 1st step says to choose a frosting, and it says some are $.50 & other are $.75 cents each. But I was informed you are only allowed to pick 1, after I tried putting 2 on mine. Kind of defeats the purpose of creating your own. The next step is the toppings, and I went with Marshmallow and Peanut Butter Cup to add to my Carmel topping. I placed the order to go. I'm not sure how the toppings are supposed to be, but by the time I got home, everything was mostly melted into one big mess of frosting goo anyways and was really impossible to tell where the actual cinnamon roll was. Don't get me wrong, it was still good, but maybe it was meant to be eaten on the spot or not warmed up before I took it with so it wouldn't have melted everywhere. Update: with that being said I am a little confused my the leave a review and get a free cinnamon roll incentive. I love the idea but it does not mention that it is a bogo which is completely fine just think it should be promoted as such. Additionally was told my review was not “valid” as I wrote it outside the store as opposed to in the store and had to buy two more full priced cinnamon rolls and leave another review in order to qualify for the deal. Nowhere on the promotional advertisement did it say this was a bogo or had to be completed in store so not sure if there is a miscommunication with materials or interpreting on my end but I was definitely bummed as someone who has bought 20-30 cinnamons rolls at the franchise thinking I would be getting one free. I still recommend this place to others and stand by the product as I think it is delicious especially for the price but think there are some areas to clear up...
