Made a random stop here and very glad we did so! It's kind of a hole in the wall but they have lines going out the store, and for good reason. The doughnuts here were the perfect flavor and texture, in my opinion. Not too cakey, not too sweet. They also have HK egg waffles here. I love bubble waffles! The only thing is that I wish they had more toppings for them like fresh fruit. I had mine plain because I didn't see any suitable toppings and it was so delicious. The milk teas were also fantastic and not overly sweet. My boyfriend was able to adjust the sugar level on his drink but I was not able to with my fruit latté. It didn't matter because they did not overload it with syrup. This is a place that focuses on quality, that's for sure.

This place needs a shout-out!!! I checked all the toppings they use, and it was all vegetarian/vegan. None of that gelatin stuff 🥳 Their toppings are seaweed or agar based. For those who don't know about those alternatives, they do not change anything about the texture or the flavor of the toppings but are sourced from plants instead of animal bones(which is was gelatin uses). As a vegetarian, that is really difficult to find. And these guys are in my backyard 🤗🤗 Super friendly staff as well! I'll definitely be visiting the place often!!!

And they have excellent customer service. Very kind, every time. Recommend this place one thousand percent!!!!!!! They have yummy Hong Kong waffles too. I love adding butcherscotch cookie chips to them. Soooo good.

Initially came for the boba and didn’t care for the donuts. Funny enough, I loved the donut and was unfortunately disappointed with my drink.

I ordered a black milk tea with tapioca pearls and it lacked flavor. The tapioca was not the best quality either.

I decided to get a classic glazed donut (not pictured because it was inhaled immediately). It was easily one of the greatest donuts I’ve had in a very long time. It was so soft and fluffy!

The inside is very cute and clean. I really liked how they have photos of their regulars displayed. There is also a self order kiosk.

I understand that the construction on Ankeny makes entering businesses somewhat difficult, but I think it’d be worth giving them a try! Maybe next time I will try a fruit...

Was so excited to findA bubble tea shopSo unfortunately I was so disappointed with this shop😪.we got there at 630,which is a half hour before close,so my daughter who loves milk tea and was so happy to find a shop close to us said we will just get tea and go.HoweverThat didn't happen,bc my daughter got her drink and I then placed my order.
