Opening night at the Annandale Chick-Fil-A got me to “Eat Mor Chickin” than I intended to. I love clean spaces and great customer service, and to my delight the staff here had those 2 components down. Now to the actual food. The waffled fries were cooked to perfection with a crispness on the outside that morphed into the best potato bite you’ll ever have. To say that Chick- Fil-A has cornered the market on fast food chicken, would be an understatement. This is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. I have long scoured the internet for this recipe and at times thought I’d come close. However, I was reminded of my feeble attempt to match this savory one-of-a-kind sandwich. I realized that I hadn’t used any of the sauces I’d ordered, as I savored my last bite. So naturally, I had “Mor Chickin” to try out the sauces. I don’t believe anything will ever beat their signature sauce but Annandale has a roasted honey barbecue sauce that is truly wonderful! Now to the staff. Eric the manager is not only an awesome human but he sure invested time in surrounding himself with other awesome humans. Apart from every staff member I encountered saying, “It’s my pleasure” at every turn, their liveliness, friendliness, and helpfulness have made me a lifelong customer. I took these pics of opening night as I waited for my order and weeks later, nothing has changed. It’s always bustling, the drive through is a neat design, and accessibility to the location was thoughtfully done. Annandale Chick-Fil-A gets 5 stars from me. Here’s to...
Read moreI get it, everybody loves Chick-Fil-A, so do I. I have been running my shop across the street, waiting for a good time to go get some. I have problems picking up food seeing as I'm the only one working my store an cant leave it closed and unattended for long. Before i even left and locked my store, I tried placing a simple sandwich meal order with the smallest nuggets and the smallest strips. I placed the order at least before I even left, walked across a parking lot, an intersection crosswalk, a gas station, and finally your location, and waited another 15 minutes at least. How is carryout supposed to be faster if I order that far ahead, and still see numerous dine in customers order after me and get their food before me? I was literally making the decision to just leave and rush back to my store then just dispute the charges and say forget it when I finally got my food. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the food was just like regular and the order was correct, which I really appreciate. You guys just need to work running your kitchen smoother, because business won't slow down unless you keep making people wait so long for food, and your restaurant wasn't even...
Read moreThe food here is solid but basically everything else especially the dine in experience is rough.
Food runners are poorly trained, register workers are poorly trained and the front of house staff doesn’t clean. Runners frequently bring out your meal and then don’t bring your drink out with them, making you ask them to go get it for you when they should be trained to read the ticket and verify they have everything they need in their hands.
If this particular location didn’t serve good food compared to other NoVA Chick-Fil-A’s I wouldn’t come here. The food is the only redeeming quality.
On top of it all, this area has a ton of bus routes and foot traffic meaning at times this Chick-Fil-A can have multiple homeless people loitering in it. Ive had a few experiences where I had to move across the restaurant because someone near me smelled disgusting all while I was attempting to eat. Because of this population in the area it is also scary to go into the bathroom at this location, you never know what you’re going to see, smell or who is going to approach you in there because the homeless population can be so...
