I was intrigued from the start by the cheerful character on the OiSO sign that lends a pop of color to the unassuming corner shop location of this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised at how bright and airy the interior felt, with a simplistic modern flare. Everything was well lit and easy to navigate, from the menu board to the array of drinks in the wall cooler. The young woman at the cashier was pleasant and helpful, while one of the chefs (head chef??) stepped out to greet me and then checked on how I was enjoying my food later as well. My only caveat about the interior is that you had better love K-Pop and be ready to sacrifice having much conversation because it's a little too much to talk over, for me anyway. (I do love K-Pop but wouldn't have minded it a tad lower). The big screen with the music videos was a fun touch as well. I arrived around 2PM on a Wednesday and my food came out fast and was very fresh. I heard them pounding the pork for the mozzarella donkatsu in the back when I arrived. I really enjoyed the finely sliced/shredded coleslaw which was an enjoyable side to the donkatsu. As noted in another review, the mozzarella was plentiful and yet did not overwhelm the pork. It was the perfect balance of crunchy and gooey. The sauce which seemed to be BBQ based, was light in flavor and perfect for dipping. The tteok bokki was just right, not too hot not too sweet. The fishcakes were not too fishy either. I enjoyed the little side dish of house made kimchi and some pickled radish slices as I ate through my meal. I was a little confused by the small bowl of very weak room temperature broth brought with the tteok bokki. I should have asked if it was supposed to be heated up, (which would have made it a little better to cleanse my palatte with IMO.) Overall, very happy with the quality of everything from start to finish and cannot gripe too hard on the broth, but a better version of that element would have made it perfect. Will be back again with friends for sure.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! This place is hands-down one of the best dining spots I've ever been to. The food here is, without exaggeration, the most delicious Korean cuisine I’ve ever had! I truly believe the magic comes from the chef, who I believe is named Chef Williams. It was my first time visiting, and what made me stay—and now want to return again and again—was the warmth and hospitality of the chef. He came out to greet my husband and I personally, and although I’m not Korean, he made me feel incredibly welcome. He was very gentle and humble, and eager to serve with a sincere smile. That kind of genuine hospitality set the tone and told me right away that the food was going to be special. We ordered the Donkatsu with mozzarella cheese, the Bulgogi cup, and the spicy pork kimbap. Every dish was amazing, even down to the kimchi, which was clearly homemade and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the heart and personality of the chef in the food. It was such a memorable experience, and I know I’ll be coming back often. There are still so many dishes on the menu I can’t wait to try! I encourage everyone that reads my review to go and experience this awesome place. You won’t regret it, I promise.

I stumbled upon Oiso by complete accident but I am so glad I did. Chef William is offering world-class food with excellent service! My wife and I order the Bulgogi Cup Bop, Spicy Pork Kimbop, and the Mozzarella Donkatsu. The mozzarella was so fresh. I was so surprised to hear that all the food is made in house! You can taste how fresh all the food is and feel the love that is put into each dish. Eating the food and speaking to the staff gave us an at-home feeling. The atmosphere made it such a pleasant place. We are so thankful for this experience. On a side note, I really appreciate how clean the restroom was. It smelled fresh and was so nice inside. It really speaks to the owner’s attention to detail in everything. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went to this new place today with my partner. He found it online and I’m so happy he did. The service was superb. The staff and im not sure if it was the owner , but they were very attentive. We got the kimchi cheese cup bap, the chicken cup bap, and the rose tteok Nikki. The kimchi cheese bap was my favorite. The fried egg was covered in their spicy mayo sauce and I’m assuming a red pepper sauce. It was yummy and the kimchi rice and cheese combo was so good. The cups were actually pretty filling. I was only able to finish half of mine. The chicken one was also good, it had lettuce japchae rice. Both were really good portions specially with for the price! I def recommend. The rose ttoek was yummy. It had a smoky flavor due to the small sausages they added. The dish had rice think glass noodles? They were also yummy. It was a bit spicy for me but the flavor was good. I personally wish for the price which was 18 dollars you got a bigger portion or at least maybe lower the price. I think that was our only critique. OVERALL I recommend this place a lot. The interior is super cute. The staff was super friendly. And I was super satisfied with the flavor of all dishes. Will...
