Seven Hair Line Inc. has been the place I have been my getting my haircut since I was in middle school. While I was in college, I would always wait until Spring or Winter-break to get my hair-cut here. The same is true when I attended law school. For well over a decade, I remained a loyal customer to this salon instead of finding a new barber closer to where I lived and worked.

Why? The owner, Ms. Heo is always willing to go the extra mile. Show a picture of your favorite celebrity and she'll cut it exactly to your liking. But that's just the basics.

I usually get my hair cut pretty short, and let it grow out. When I explained this, Ms. Heo went forward and adjusted the cut such that it would naturally grow out to a style I specified. This is a reoccurring process, a thing I've done probably a dozen times. Each and every-time, the cut looks good for months on end.

Not so confident in a particular style? She'll walk with you step by step, stopping every so often so you can check how it looks in the mirror and how the haircut matches your frame and face. My vision is terrible; if I want to check how my haircut is progressing, I need to stop the haircut and put on glasses. Not once has Ms. Heo ever rushed me, or pushed me into a style I'm not comfortable with.

Lastly, the customer service makes you feel like you're visiting family. My haircut tendencies, as described above, usually ends up with me getting a haircut twice or three times a year. However, every time, I get a warm welcome, a big smile, and we talk about how I've grown since I was child and how my life is progressing. My son and I had an outstanding experience at this Korean salon.

A couple months ago, my son got his first perm here. While he doesn;t speak Korean, it did not hinder the process or the results in any way. She used gestures, pictures, and expertise to understand exactly what my son wanted. They were patient, thorough, and so skilled in giving my son a fantastic perm.

Even though we live in Maryland, about 40 minutes away, impressed by my son's results, I went back for a Korean perm myself. Again, while we couldn't communicate fluently in words, she understood my hair goals perfectly. She is a perm master, adapting the process to my hair type and desired style. The outcome was a head of soft, fabulous waves that I absolutely adore. i do not look like I just got a perm! I have very fine hair that was flat and lifeless. it now has beautiful body and tons of waves.

She and her assistant are both warm and attentive. It's clear they take great pride in their work. The salon is clean, relaxing, and well-appointed. Prices are very reasonable considering the high-end perms and service. I will definitly make this drive...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Seven Hair Line for the first time, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for the entire appointment. Mrs. Heo, the stylist and the owner, was an absolute gem. She took the time to listen to my preferences and concerns and actually did what I asked! I had many experiences where a stylist nodded when I asked for a certain style but did something different (e.g., asked for no layer but got lots of layers).
