Five Guys — Restaurant in Annandale

I like the hamburgers and fries. But I don't like how they jacked their prices to $10.49 for a hamburger in 2022. They have the nerve to display a very old sign that says "Best Burger Under Five Bucks."

Also, I don't recommend coming to this location within 30 minutes of closing time because the employees will make you feel very unwelcome for having the nerve to order food 30 minutes before closing. They will give you the dirtiest looks and speak about you in their native language.

Further, the employees at this location don't like white people. You can see how the employees give odd stares at white people, and then they turn to each other and make faces while making comments in spanish. Tonight is a great example of how they dislike white people. I ordered a hamburger, and I was the only customer in the entire restaurant. They purposefully screwed up my order by putting their nasty cheese on it. I didn't discover this until after I returned home past 10PM. This was supposed to be my dinner. Thanks to the racist employees, I'm having fries for dinner.

When I called the racist manager Sonya, I pointed out how badly they treated me, and that they purposefully screwed up my order. She said, "Well, you arrived at 9:55PM, and I know because I looked at my watch." I told racist Sonya that she is wrong (my receipt shows 9:50PM), and that they don't close until 10PM. My arrival time should have NOTHING to do with how I'm treated.

Moreover, I must be the only sucker who pays for soda at this location. The employees give out water cups to customers who use them for soda. And the employees know this! I even discussed this issue with a manager, and he says that there's nothing he can do about it. Really? Hmmm. How about having the thieves trespassed? Their theft is recorded on video, so it is very easy to have the police come to the location while the thieves are still on site. The thieves are from the same "community" as the employees, so it's a form of conspiracy where employees and customers are working together to achieve a common goal. Perhaps an unnamed federal agency will make a visit to this location, as well as to the Home Depot parking lot across the street to send these criminals back from where they came.

Just like another other five Guys location. I like the burgers. Came to grab lunch. Ordered a hot dog and bacon cheese burger. Had the hot dog and felt a little off with my throat. Will be tossing the burger - not worth risking to get sick. There was a employee behind the food line who was displaying symptoms of constant coughing. Person did not wear a mask and was working around the food. Noticed they went back in the kitchen area to finally cover their face in paper towels to control their cough.

This is absolutely alarming. I reached out to the business twice to make this aware. Will also reach out to food and health services in VA. I'm surprised people eating here did not seemed as alarmed that they were being served food that may potentially cause them to get sick. They have security cameras, so I'm sure the business can pull up the footage. I am feeling off and let's hope I don't get sick. I've had better, more sanitized experiences at other five Guys. This is a food restaurant - the employees should know better. I will not becoming back.

Also, while the peanuts may be good - people! Hope you're aware of who may be touching or sifting through those peanuts as you put your hand in to grab yours.. After paying out at the cashier for your meal, most people generally don't wash their hands immediately. Handing cash etc....

Best burgers and fries around. Been eating Five Guys since 1987 and have never had a bad meal. Great hotdogs and grilled cheese too. Every burger is hot and juicy - cooked to order and any topping you want is included. The 'Little' is one patty. The regular has two patties in between the custom baked sesame seed bun. Cooked-twice boardwalk style fries are cut fresh and made just as your burger is ready. The Five Guys app saves time too. You can save favorite orders and pay in advance with a stored credit/debit card. You can schedule in advance for a later pickup or have your order ready ASAP. Either way, your fries are cooked when you show up so they are fresh and hot for you to enjoy. By the way, you get a ton of fries!
