This was our first time here since the new ownership. I ordered the smoked wings (naked) with a side of parmesan truffle fries. It was all delicious. The wings were perfectly smoked, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Also, there were 14 wings! The fries were crispy and had a great flavor. My husband had the special Texan Burger and sweet potato tots. The burger patty was huge and was cooked well. He really enjoyed it and said the house bbq sauce that was on it was thin, but tasty. He really enjoyed his tots too. He had two beers that he liked with his meal. Service was good and prompt. Now for the cons: the singer/ entertainment was not great and was loud enough that you couldn't have a conversation with the person across the table from you without almost yelling. Will definitely try to go back when there's no live musician. We tried the banana pudding for dessert. The menu touts it as homemade and like your grandma made. If this is how your grandmother made banana pudding, you have lived an unfulfilled life. It was "vanilla pudding" (it's in quotes because it really didn't have any flavor-not even vanilla), no vanilla wafers except the one whole one and some crumbs on top for garnish, whipped cream and some gray, slimy bananas at the bottom. This was NOT Southern homemade banana pudding. This was banana pudding for people who don't know how to make custard or meringue. We couldn't even finish it because it was not even remotely appetizing. Try another dessert. We will be back and we will try other menu items next time.

Great atmosphere but that’s not what we came for, we came for great tasting food. It was our first time in Anniston and someone said try this place. We ordered the beer braised pork belly bites thinking man if done right they will melt in your mouth, sadly these didn’t. Our man course selections were the fish and chips and the Turf of the day. First lets talk about the fish and chips, the fish was flavorless but the “chips” were amazing. Now for the turf of the day, it was a 16oz cowgirl ribeye and why I order steaks at a restaurant I don’t know because I make such a great steak I’m always disappointed and this was no exception, this steak was not a high quality cut and had ZERO flavor! Now for the shocking part, this flavorless steak was $56.00 and worth $22.00 at best. Sorry Coldwater you need to focus more on the food and less on the fun.

Good luck getting a beer brewed here. First 3 requests they were out. At least the server had a good sense of humor about it. I said suggest something g you have, went with the Oktoberfest, 10mins later asked for an update,, keg was out they were changing it… well that was the start, good news was the appetizers were great! The fried green tomatoes were awesome! So couple drinks served and things were getting better. Ordered the sirloin for a main and it was cooked perfectly but it was COLD! Well servers came to the rescue and took care of me. I hate complaining it makes me feel terrible but wanted to ensure they got the feedback. We did have a large table of 7 people so chef probably got things out of order. Just wanted to give an honest review. So close to a great night, details matter. Pic of plate while steak back for repairs :-)

We found this place by searching for pet-friendly, and it really is. Inside or out, your (well-behaved) dog is welcome here. They brew good beers, and have just about as many other breweries beers to drink, too. We enjoyed all the food we tried. We tried fish & chips, nachos, taco soup (actually this was Fritos in chili, but it was pretty good), a BLT, and a club sandwich. Service was good. We really liked chatting with Gibson. She's charming and does a great job. We only visit Anniston because we have family in Oxford, and there are not many restaurants in the area we have enjoyed this much. It's nicely done, has some extra dining rooms I wandered around in, a new outdoor deck, and a nice long bar.

What a gem! This is the former Cheaha Brewing Co. site, but the food here is so much better! Within a month, we tried multiple menu choices and were never disappointed. Especially amazing are the pickled chicken strips -- tender, crunchy and perhaps the best fried chicken in town. Shrimp and Grits, Smoked Pork Nachos, Catfish and the El Cubano were outstanding. The okra comes whole-pod fried (delicious). We did not care for the Pork Belly Bites only because they were exceptionally fatty and not cooked crisp. All of the beers were great and the service was exceptional. They even allowed our (well-behaved) dog to join us for lunch. This is definitely the best place in Anniston!

My first time trying this place for brunch and I am absolutely impressed! I got the Hawkeye IPA Pork Belly sandwich that comes with this awesome Asian glaze, pickled veggies, and cilantro, and Truffle fries as my side. They were seasoned to perfection, and I honestly don't think I've ever had better fries. Bestie got the shrimp and grits, which was absolutely amazing also and LOADED with shrimp and andouille sausage. The restaurant itself is so comforting, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to returning! If you're in the Anniston area, this is definitely a place you should check out! It's so worth it!
