I usually don't post reviews but I stopped at the ansonia location felt like a pastrami sandwich & onion rings.I order my food at 9:50 pm order # 581.Then drove to McDonald's in Derby which tops is five minutes away because you don't offer wifi in the parking lot.First off the pastrami was dried out and barely warm the pastrami had to be sitting around since lunch i always thought you grilled the pastrami fresh guess I was wrong. The onion rings I thought you cooked fresh I was wrong again they were just above cool on temperature. I was thankful that I got three extra mustard packs I needed to put some moisture back into the sandwich. Also I have to say I wanted to hold the swiss cheese and swap for American cheese they wanted .60 cents for that believe me it's not about the money come on duchess you can't swap cheese for nothing then on top of it swiss is more money then american.Ihave to say I was very disappointed this is the second time at night I got cold food about two months ago I stopped order the two hot dog special I wanted the hot dogs well done when I opened the hotdogs they were just above raw I was smart I didn't eat them I bought them back the next day I got refunded.I know the people that own this franchise think we'll 13.19 isn't a lot money it is what it is. Also the price has gone up I understand that in today's time's but the portion of meat was not what used to be over the years I ate a lot these sandwiches. So it will probably be a long time before I stop again unfortunately to spend that much money for what I got once again I say disappointing.I kick myself in the backside I should have bought...
Read moreWent to the drive thru around 8:45pm, the person in front of me had an absolutely massive order, and when I got to the window they had no record of the order I had put in at the drive thru microphone. The shift leader took my order then; I felt bad for him because he seemed like he was the only one there who knew or cared what he was doing, and he was trying hard to get the rest of his crew under control, to no avail. One girl seemed like she couldn't find her own head if you pointed her right to it, and the rest were just screwing off in a corner and posing for selfies. The shift lead took good care of me and is the only reason I did not rate 1 star for the service. Once I finally got the food after some time waiting, it was okay- not bad, but not that good, either- but after we finished eating, I found a dead bug at the bottom of one of the disposable food trays. The quality of the food there has been declining over the past year or so; I will definitely not be going back, and recommend to others that you don't...
Read moreI ordered the Scrambled Eggs Breakfast Platter (Scrambled Eggs, Home Fries, Toast, Meat of Choice.) I'm vegetarian, so I asked if instead of meat, I could get a few extra home fries. They said no. The cheapest side in the world, for the most expensive kind of side, and they didn't even give us an option; just a hard no. So I paid full price for less, and saw that the Rye Toast I got was an extra $0.20 for being Rye. Those little rats really did that. AND THE FOOD WASN'T EVEN THAT GOOD. Okay it was pretty good but the point I'm trying to make is that doing little things to make the customer feel like they're being taken care of is so important, as opposed to nickel-and-diming everyone any chance you get. This place used to be really cool, but now they're just overpriced and petty. Or maybe I'm the petty one. It just seems wrong...
