The village cafe — Restaurant in Ansonia

Wanted to try a new breakfast and coffee spot and was incredibly happy with the choice. Menu had a good variety for whatever you're in the mood for. I had the breakfast chicken burrito and the chicken was crispy but still tender, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and it was clear the ingredients used were fresh and great quality. It was delicious and came out quickly. Coffee was fresh and tasted great too.

The owner, Angel, was very accommodating, friendly, and it's clear he deeply cares about providing the best service to his customers. The Village Cafe is officially added to my list of favorite cafes. Can't wait to go back and try something else...

Went there yesterday for the first time kept seeing signs and finally went. I had always just went to Duchess. The Village Cafe is my new Breakfast Spot! If you have little ones super easy/safe and fast to get in and out. You can order ahead but we literally waited not even 5 minutes. We got a BEC and GC an 2 bottled juices for $18. I would have spent the same/more at Duchess. The inside is super clean, organized and welcoming. The food was delicious just like a homemade should be. They also had different salads like chicken, pastas and green which I’m going to try next time. This place is definitely bringing...

A small business local cafe in the neighborhood, with amazing food! Pass on on the chain spots and go here. There is some seating but takeout or delivery seems to be the more prevalent option. Coffee is good, BLT and corn muffin, were both very good, and I like forward to the next meal I get there! The inside could use a little bit of refresh to make dining in a bit more appealing but again seating is limited and that’s kinda the charm.. Overall love supporting local especially when...
