This being the closest McDonald's to where I live, I've been here a number of times. McDonalds is the benchmark for fast-food, and everyone knows what to expect here, and this location usually delivers the goods as you'd expect.
Service has occasionally been spotty, which isn't surprising given that most of the front-line jobs are entry-level, but there are rarely any real problems with the staff. The few times they've made a legit mistake, they've fixed it.
The biggest problem at this location is the clientele. It's very close to Deer Valley High School, and when school lets out, it's swamped with teens who tend to be rude and make big messes, which can overwhelm the staff in their efforts to keep the dining area clean. There is also the occasional trouble-maker customer (not necessarily a student), and the staff sometimes struggles to deal with them.
But overall, the food is good (for McDonald's), the service is mostly good, and they do have free AT&T-provided WiFi like all McDonald's locations, which is always a plus. Nothing is "very good", and the worst elements are mostly out of the control...
Read moreToday I went to treat me and my pup with some nuggets. The drivethru was longer then usual and it was 1030 so I figured breakfast to lunch. The line crept along very slowly and I wondered what the issue was. I'm stuck in the line, placed my order then we just sat. We sat and sat and sat until finally the cars moved. I could see two cars in front of me and they were waiting to pay. We sat even longer. Now it's over 20 minutes and the car two in front of me drove off. The car in front sat there to pay and then drove forward. My turn. The manager told me that the system for the drivethru was down and if I wanted my food I need to drive around, go inside and wait there. I said, I've been waiting for over 20 min, couldn't you give the 6 cars that were stuck for so long our orders for free as a courtesy? Great customer service. I was told again, the system was down and I can go inside if I'd like. I drove off. What a wasted opportunity to take care of the customer. Where oh where did...
Read moreSo sick of missing food EVERY time we go here. Also its been 6 months and they still havent figured out how to get soda working. Was not even available for months, no sign either. This means, you get in Drive thru and are stuck ordering, since they never post a sign indicating that somehow their most profitable item, is not available.
But this review is not about the soda, but the management here overall. This is by far the worst McDonalds , consistently, that I have ever been to. I am not sure why it is so difficult to match an order to the receipt. Today was missing so many items, that even after we parked, they still stole money from us by not providing the food ordered.

Call District manager to complain so the management is let go and they can find some capable people to run this place. How can you be out of soda...
