Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Antioch

We walked in to this restaurant at 8:15pm… They close at 10:00pm to order a medium size pizza advertised on their menu at $23.00. When I looked down at my receipt I saw a charge of $30.72. I immediately asked the associate why is our bill so high when your menu says $23 for this size pizza. The guys looked me dead in the eyes and said well our pricing went up. I said but that’s not advertised on the menu. I immediately asked for a refund and he wrote refund on the top of the receipt and refused to process the transaction. I said I want my refund before I leave the store. He said they don’t process refunds at night and said come back tomorrow. I told him that sounds ludicrous and I want my refund now. Then his mother came out the back acting as if she was the manager and said…I’ll give you two ranch dressings for the inconvience. ((They hadn’t even started making the pizza yet)). I again asked for my refund and they refused. By this time, it was 20 minutes later! Tired and frustrated I called my bank to dispute the charge and the Antioch police. I have to wait to file the chargeback as the charge officially hadn’t posted yet and….The police never called back or showed up. I will discuss this with my bank in the morning but what an inconvenience. This establishment robs people. DO NOT EVER PURCHASE PIZZA OR ANYTHING FROM HERE! Their service was horrible!!!!! AND their callous behavior towards us was alarming. $30 dollars is $30 dollars…NOT $23!!! Rip off and scam artists! Mind you we left with NO PIZZA and a bill for $30.72. They have no idea what DECENT…not even GOOD customer service is all...

I ordered several times from this location' But the last time i placed an online order at 9 am knowing it wont be delivered till about noon or later. At 11 am i went to my garage to move boxes around and my garage door was open so i can see the delivery person. 12:30 came and no delivery. I checked my phone and saw they had called so I called back. When i called i was told that my order had been cancelled because they had no delivery driver. And that my refund was going to take 2 days to get back to me. I asked if they can deliver later in the afternoon but i was just told again that my order was cancelled. They have good pizza and they are at higher price from others but i dont mind paying for good quality. Unfortunately I will never order again, they had the problem of having no driver to deliver and I was NOT given an option to get it delivered at a later time , nor for me to pick it up. The guy just said it the order was cancelled. I did not create the problem nor was I treated as a constant customer that I was. Good pizza but the customer means nothing to them as I told the guy that I was not happy and will go buy somewhere else. He just replied -- go ahead...

Gave My Order to Someone Else — Unprofessional and Poor Quality

I had a really disappointing experience at the Mountain Mike’s Pizza on Lone Tree Way in Antioch. I ordered ahead, but when I arrived, they told me my order had already been picked up — by someone else. No name check, no confirmation — they just gave it away.

To make things worse, the staff was unprofessional and didn’t seem to care. No real apology, no sense of urgency, and no effort to make it right. I had to wait all over again for my food to be remade, with zero compensation or even a sincere “sorry.”

When I finally got the pizza, it was nothing like what I’ve had at other Mountain Mike’s locations. The crust was off, the toppings were sparse, and the overall quality just didn’t compare.
