First time I’ve ever written a google review. But I honestly feel compelled after the extreme drop off in service quality at this McDonald’s the past few months. I have lived in AV since the age of 3, and I have never had serious issues with this place.
Come here maybe once a month or every other in the past year or so. And suddenly in the first few days of June after returning from vacation, the drive through line is at a standstill. Clearly over loaded and not moving. It never used to be like that. Always busy, but moving at a regular pace. So I think, oh well, I will just go inside right? WRONG! I Go up to the door, and, despite the fact that the hours mean it should be open. I see a handwritten note on a piece of paper saying the inside is closed....crazy unprofessional.
So I wait in the drive through. I kid you not, after nearly 30 minutes (and 3 cars in front of me clearly deciding to say “f” it and driving off!), I finally get my food.
Next time I go, in end of June, same thing. Crazy long line. So I decide to leave and drive to the rosemount one.
At this point I was thinking maybe it was a fluke and they’d had mass staff quitting and they were just trying to get back on their feet or some such thing, so my roommate and I try again the next month, and they tell us it’s going to be a 15 minute wait in the drive through and ask if that’s ok. I do appreciate the heads up this time at least, but politely decline. Even Culver’s doesn’t take that long to wait and they cook all their food items fresh!
Tonight, same crazy long line. So I go in. Service was very slow but mostly adequate. But the food quality was very poor.
Up until now I kept thinking it would improve but honestly do not waste your time at this location. Unless it’s super late and they would be closed it will literally take you less time to drive into rosemount to get it from their...
Read moreI decided to use my McDonald’s coupons the other day and treat myself to a quick meal I ordered a iced coffee with my meal and it was so awful I took 2 sips and decided I couldn’t put that in my body so I went to the register and apologized while explaining how I wasn’t a fan of the coffee and would like something else I stated I would pay the difference in the drinks if one cost more however I wasn’t willing to pay full price for a new drink if the first one hardly been touched I know they cannot take it back so I offered to throw it away. The managers there gave me such a hard time saying I would have to pay another $7 for a new drink which was $1.67 more than the first coffee. I know it might sound silly to you guys but I spent $14 on drinks alone and I find that really sad especially since eating out has become so expensive anywhere I go I’m thankful enough to call it a treat, I felt as though the customer service I received wasn’t proper. I’m blessed to have even eaten that day and it guilts me to write this knowing lots of ppl didn’t eat that day, but what prompt me to write this the most was the other reviews I see as well about the customer service of the Apple valley McDonald’s and how I am not the only one who received such awful customer service. I’m not going to tell you not to eat here, I’d rather tell you to keep god in your corner, spread awareness and speak up for yourself because I chose the higher route and paid for a new drink because I didn’t want to give them the hard time they were giving me, we have to stand for what’s right no matter how exhausting. The world can be ugly but don’t be uglier just because you can be. Please pray over this location!! It’s not a company disclosure, it’s the location creating a prohibition tactic to intimidate consumers/customers they do not like to...
Read moreWow, where to start. Ok first the lady working as the cashier inside was drowning, she had no clue what was going on and the "manager" felt the need to reluctantly help her and put on a production as if she was the dumbest person in the world. I actual felt sympathetic towards her until it was my turn... yay. She was visibly flustered and so I did my best to try and be as clear and simple as possible. Then as she's reading the order back her phone rings and she then proceeds to answer it and completely ignored me. Ok, maybe it was an emergency, or maybe the vet with bad news about her bearded dragon. Fine, I'll swiped my card and Carried on as any midwesterner would. But then my order was ready ... yay again. She must of put the phone down because then she proceeded to SCREAM my order number at least 3 times. At this point I'm thinking she maybe is the dumbest person on the planet. As I'm walking up I see the lady who is in the lobby cleaning. She was an older lady who was working hard, yet she was crying hysterically. Apparently the "manager" had yelled at her. The power aide that I got because I was hungover and needed to hydrate (dont judge me ) tasted like they didn't rinse the cleaning solution out of the nozzle. And there I sit with my food, and pinesol power aid. Aaaaaaaaand the food is cold and mushy, granted its McDonalds food so you go in expecting to eat reheated plastic. But my lowered standards could only carry me so far. I walked out of this disgusting place needing a shower. If anyone of any authority has read this please do us all a favor, lock the doors and put a sign on the window saying " closed for very stupid reasons. Please eat...
