Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Apple Valley

We have had previous bad experience with this place, but what happened today was the last straw. Before this, we have had problems like once we ordered a Pepsi with our order and the delivery person said she would bring it but forgot it, the only problem was she NEVER CAME. Or a tad more recently we ordered a Pepsi again with our order and the man gave us our food, yet not the Pepsi. But what happened today was COMPLETLY unacceptable today for lunch we ordered a pizza and decided to do the text notifications... but since my phone was silent I never got the notifications. When the dude was about a half hour late I checked my phone and saw it said "your order is getting delivered!" As a text About a HOUR AGO! I called Pizza Hut regarding this... and they said the delivery man came but since no one was home he left... And he went to burnsville with our food in his car!! First off, he didn't come since any time someone comes, my two big dogs have a crazy barking fit and he should have rung the doorbell or something but we didn't hear Anything... and if we weren't coming to the door, he should have called the number provided. When we told them this... they at the very least should have gaven a gift certificate but Nope apparently this was our fault. We will never order from here ever again... and I advise you...

I placed an order and the website told me it would be about an hour for delivery. At the 1 hour mark I received a text message stating the food was out for delivery. At the 90 minute mark, I decided call the store that I ordered from to see if perhaps the driver was lost and I was informed that for some reason the system had cancelled my order.

My food was never even made and they were "too busy" to call me and let me know what had happened. Furthermore, the person that I talked to apologized and offered to start making the order, but there was still a 90 minute backlog of orders. That would mean that our slightly later than normal dinner would have been delivered at 9 pm. I gave up at that point and told them to just cancel the order.

I'm not typically one to write a negative review after just 1 bad experience at a place, but this location is frequently late on their deliveries. If you ever want to order Pizza Hut and this store is the only one delivering to your location, you'd probably be better off ordering it at a different location and going to pick it up yourself.

The only reason that I've given this location a 2nd star is because we usually do not have problems with the food that does make it...

So, I was having a bad night, so this guy who's a bit sweet on me calls in my favorite kind of pizza and pays to have it delivered to my house. #Points

Delivery guy calls and describes my AWESOME jeep in my driveway (it's a jeep thing blah blah blah) to confirm that it was in fact my residence. My home has many characteristics, but obviously choose to describe the awesomest thing: the Jeep. #pointsThere

He comes up to the door and says politely: "you're actually out of our delivery range, but my manager seems to like you."

At this point in the narrative, be reminded that I was having a bad night. Earlier in the day, I wanted to hit any one of those smiley, cheery people in the back of the head with a computer programming textbook, hoping that their goofy smiles would stick on their cheery gums for life. #idiocracy

However, the comment by the delivery guy about his manager at AV Pizza Hut liking me got this establishment some #pointsThereToo
