Z Tacos Mexican Food — Restaurant in Apple Valley

I've been here a couple of times now, the first time, we ordered the Cali burrito and some asada fries, they were delicious but the burrito was a superstar! So delicious,flavorful and tender meat, and perfectly balanced ingredients, however this morning we stopped by to get a couple more bomb Cali burritos, but I gotta say, they were hella disappointing. The meat was dry, bland, and to be perfectly transparent pretty gross. Made me feel like I was eating expired meat.That alone made the entire burrito a disappointment. I'll try it out one more time to see if it was a flook, I really hope it was. That first burrito was literally magic. Crossing my fingers Z Tacos Mexican food isn't another inconsistent quality...

I can’t tell you what the atmosphere is like but I’m gonna give them a 5 star..the amount of food you get is enough! My wife wanted asada nachos on the 4th and most places we visit frequently were closed( I get it) so I searched found this place ordered asada fries for my self, asada nachos for my wife and an extra Birria plate since most places don’t offer Birria. I did hope it was a quesabirria but I misread either way the Birria was spot on, came with rice and beans tortillas, and guac/ salsa. Very few “gas station” Mexican food has been good in my honest opinion but please give it a try the fries and nachos came packed full with meat and no I didn’t get sick so please...

Took a shot at their Nachos, Carne asada 😋 super tasty. Excellent homemade red sauce. The chips they use are light and crispy. Huge portion. Very satisfying. Update 11/27/2024: tried the machaca plate, carne asada burrito. Excellent machaca! Tender beef with onions, red and green peppers, cheese, and a hot flour tortilla, rice and beans. Dang it was awesome. The burrito I had a few days ago. Also a complete winner. Super juicy and tons of meat. Soft tortilla, tasty red sauce. Best part is there's...
