I really didn't want to give a lower rating but I couldn't give it a higher rating either. I write this review as someone who grew up with authentic Mexican cuisine at home. First off, there's a weird smell in the air, like an open drain. Could just be me because I have a very sensitive sense of smell. I noticed they had chilaquiles on the menu which is why I chose to stop here, but after tasting the chips (stale) and salsa, I had to ask to try the sauce before ordering said chilaquiles... unfortunately there wasn't much flavor in the sauce it just tasted like the pepper flavor. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at El Guadalajara restaurant. The staff members were friendly, and attentive. The dishes were perfectly seasoned, and had a good balance of flavors. Read moreWe love trying out New Mexican spots and this little place was so authentic when you walked in, the atmosphere was very lively and we were immediately greeted by the waitress who was from Honduras, my home country!!! She was so friendly and welcoming.
I am a big critic when it comes to authentic horchata.. and let me tell you… THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST HOUSE HORCHATA, made with real ingredients not pre bought powder. Make sure you try it if you’re a fan of the drink.
The house chips and salsa were YUMMY and fresh.
