I ordered a Carryout Pizza. I picked it up and after I went through the drive-thru to pick up my prescription I took the pizza home. Both places are 3 blocks from home. It was still pretty warm by then and looked great like they usually do. But when we ate a piece or two there was something off with the taste of the onions. The onion tasted more like onion juice than actual sweetness that you get from a cooked onion on a pizza. I waited till next day to call them and let them know my disappointment. I would have called the same night but they close at 9 p.m. The woman that I spoke to was very condescending and snarky with my complaint. She laughed at me and said" I've been here for over 16 years and never had someone complain over an onion. I can give you a couple bucks off your next order but I'm not giving you any more than that because this has never happened before ' Normally that would be just fine for me but her attitude and her laughing at me was uncalled for. Upon the ending of our conversation I was told while laughing that I am free to speak to the owner because they're not going to do...
Read moreOrdered on Eatstreet for work. Cant comment on whether my sub was good or not, someone else ate it as they put the wrong name on the subs. Please make sure you check, as apparently 2 completely different types of subs are hard to mark.
Update: im told my sub was quite good.
As a reply to the owner, since i cannot figure out how to reply, my coworker grabbed the sub that was marked with his name. He did not know what i had ordered, as we all ordered separately in a group order on EatStreet. He assumed that Pizza King had given him the wrong sub, and ate it anyway, as he was hungry. It was not his fault that they were marked incorrectly.
So yes, it IS Pizza Kings fault for incorrectly marking orders in a group order. And due to myself not being even remotely interested in the sub he ordered, i had to reorder, paying for 2 subs, while only getting to eat...
Read moreI love pizza king pizzas, I've never ordered anything else. I haven't ordered a pizza in awhile so I dont know when things changed, but the change was very noticeable to me. There were fewer toppings on the four topping, kings pizza that I ordered. I suppose that's how everything is now. We pay much more for things and get a lighter weight product or a much smaller product. The fact that there were fewer toppings on the pizza won't stop me from returning to Pizza King as I really do like their pizza. One other thing, I paid 75 cents to have the pizza baked, I live more than 5 minutes from pizza king and it was cold when I got home. I wouldn't want it cooked longer as then it would be too well done. Just stating the facts. Overall, it's an awesome place...
