I have never been so humiliated. I went to this establishment as a doordash driver and was confronted by a women who explained to me that they do 🙅not want to do business with them, and that was fine I placed an independent order and told her I would contact doordash to let them no so this does not happen again!( even though they truly should have contracted them independently seeing as drivers have no way of knowing there is an issue) And I thought everything was fine.. So I thought... Upon being given my order a gentlemen came out to accuse me of "selling" the meal! That I already told the lady that took the order (she was very nice) that I would just order it as a takeout seeing as there was a previous problem. He went on to say he was going to call the cops next time a person from doordash came in, which was totally extreme bcuz again (that poor driver would have no way of knowing this!!) This was utterly humiliating and unethical he said it loud enough that people were starring at me and it made me feel like a second class citizen! Owning a business their selves they should know a driver has no control over where they are told to go, that would be like screaming at a waitress for the way something was cooked knowing the waitress did not cook it, just delivered it to the table! What this establishment did not no is that my husband is an executive at a very proponent corporation and I only took the delivery to check the place out for an up coming event, that they will no longer be considered for..... Please don't treat anyone else this way it's not their fault and they are not told anything in advance! And I will be notifying my husband's company to take you off their list. Also the ironic thing is I had to tell THIER own customer at whom I was bring the order to abt this and they were completely appalled and apologized several times! They only choose to have it delivered because of a recent accident so they couldn't drive but love thier food! This customer was very unhappy with this.. You never know who you're talking to so we should all treat eachother kindly..
Update: You must be talking abt a different driver I never tried to argue with anyone! I sat there quietly and I actually looked at pictures of your employees grandkids and had a great convo! I was very very respectful and very kind! And was totally understanding of your situation and expressed my gratitude towards your situation! To the first person I spoke to. I'm not that type of women and I never tried to get my way that's completly false, and I only took this job because I recent had a baby. I work for a fortune 500 company in business development but I'm on maturity leave and thought it would be interesting in my free time... Please don't speak on what you don't no it's very tacky as a business owner. I wish the same for you and your company best wishes! All I'm asking is that you understand these drivers have no idea what they are walking into... Just treat them kindly or put up a sign so they no better it's not their fault you have bad blood they do not own doordash nor do they make any choices for the company.

Read moreLast night we ventured out to Appleton and tried Draft Gastropub.
Right away there was a higher end feel when you walked in. All of the staff was dressed in long sleeve dress shirts with ties and Management was in full suits.
For drinks, we had the Smoking Gun (Bulliet Bourbon, Aperol, Orange Bitters) and Lavender Haze (Butteefly Tito’s Vodka, Lavender Syrup, Bauchant Lemon). The drinks were brought to us and the presentation was outstanding. The Smoking Gun, had been smoked and covered which was not uncovered until presented to you. The Lavender Haze had a fun smoke bubble on top of the drink. Both drinks were great and so different from the other. The smoky flavor in the Smoking Gun was pronounced throughout the whole drink, from start to finish. The Lavender Haze was light and sweet.
We then ordered for an appetizer, Candied Bacon which came with a maple truffle aioli. We debated getting it due to not liking truffle, but boy are we glad we did. The bacon is like a medium thick cut bacon that has the most delicious and sweet concoction baked onto it. The maple truffle aioli was a delicious sweet glaze that you could dip the bacon in. 10/10 would come back just for the bacon.
For dinner we ordered Chardonnay-Lobster Scallops and Brown Butter Filet Mignon. Both were cooked to absolute perfection.
The Chardonnay-Lobster Scallops was such a great combination. The Rissoto that came with it, unfortunately was kind of blah and needed salt. The seasonal vegetables (green beans and carrots) were undercooked, with some actually being raw still.
The Brown Butter Filet Mignon was wrapped in bacon. I ordered it medium and the meat melted in your mouth. The filet had a very strong smoked flavor, which I’m not sure if that was from the bacon or the filet. The filet was unfortunately very under seasoned, if it had any at all. I think if it had been given some salt and pepper during the cooking phase it would have really taken it to another level. The potatoes (Pomme de Terre) were like if someone took mashed potatoes and chopped potatoes and combined them and added cheese. They were different, it wasn’t like a lumpy mashed potato it was really like they combined two different kinds of potatoes together . The seasonal vegetables again were undercooked.
After dinner an espresso martini was ordered. It was strong and how an espresso martini should taste.
Overall this place is great for a date night. Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation though, because otherwise you will probably be waiting, as there were several people waiting when we showed up for our reservation. We will definitely come back here to try some more things.
I also decided that I need a smoke bubble gun for home 🤣

He took us to a small table in the back area in the middle of the room. We asked for a different table and he made that feel like it was an unreasonable request. We asked about several tables which he told us he wouldn't be able to seat us at. 10 minutes later a waitress went to seat a different couple at the table we had asked not to sit at and they also asked for a different table. The waitress pointed out the 3 tables we had asked about and were told no. But had no problem sitting them at.So not sure why it was not a problem for her to seat this couple at those tables but it was for him. Just got everything started off on the wrong foot. The food was really good for the most part. My wife had the sirloin taco and lobster taco and I had the shrimp tacos. All of them were really good except the lobster taco. The meat in it was terrible neither of us could eat it. It tasted like old fish with no lobster flavor at all. All the other ones were really great. Also our waiter was really good. Had the service continued how it started we would have passed on the food and left to go somewhere else. Happy our waiter was much better then the older guy that sat us. I really can't get over how unpleasant he made the start of our experience. Had it not been for him, it would have been a great experience from start to finish. Will go back l, just hope we dont have to have him seat us. He really doesn't understand the concept of guest service. The bam bam shrimp and lobster bisque was good.
