DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Decided to make a special trip out here from Corpus because I used to live in Aransas and frequented the restaurant often. Ordered through the drive thru. Prices are not accurate, only when confronted do they claim there’s a little sign posted that there’s a price increase. Ordered nachos with a side of fries. Girl at the window was busy running her mouth to her co workers instead of paying attention. No receipt handed to me or taped to the bag. Get to my location about to eat my food, order wasn’t accurate. Called to the restaurant and talked to the girl from the window and told me to come back and bring what was wrong (they took the food back, so wouldn’t surprise me if it ended up on someone else plate) while I was there I complained about my plate of nachos not being prepared like what was on the picture on the menu. She argued with me and told me thats what I asked for, so that what I got and shrugged her shoulders. Told her nope it’s not prepared the way I wanted and wasn’t happy with the lack of service and I would be reaching out to the manager. She told me “please do tell her”, slammed the window in my face and walked off. Called back to speak to a manager and the window girl’s friend wanted to play pretend manager when I asked to speak to one. Told her what happened since she refused me a real manager. With all the running back and forth my meal was all soggy and tasted horrible so threw it out. There was no offers of remakes or refund, even though she claimed “she was trying to work with me” . Now they’re claiming without the plate, they won’t be doing anything about it. I asked for the bosses name, which is Collette the girl told me and only comes in on Saturday’s & Sunday’s!? Gtfo here! Was born at night but not last night. It was a rip of $10.27 so don’t spend it all in one place because I’m NEVER stepping foot in this...

Waitress seems like she’s annoyed were there, but whatever it’s end of the day on Saturday. She comes back with our drinks and chips with salsa. Everyone at the table thanks her individually. No response. Once again whatever. She takes our order and leaves. While we’re eating our chips, my wife notices a GIANT palmetto bug aka water bug aka American COCKROACH on the wall behind us. Already ruined our food before it came. About 10 minutes after we ordered, our food came out. I got my order, (taquitos Mexicanos and street tacos, and a shrimp cocktail) and looking at it I was impressed on portion size. But man, was it bad. I tried the shrimp first. First bite tasted like chemical like a cleaning detergent, then you notice the gross taste of frozen shrimp, then the horrendous after taste of whatever sauce it’s in. It was BAD. the tacos were okay at best. Maybe I was spoiled living in San Antonio for 3 years prior to moving here, but I’ve had better tacos come from a trailer in an auto zones parking lot. After about 30 minutes, the waitress comes out and asks if there’s anything we need. At this point I just want the bill. It took her longer to bring me my check than it took for my food to come out. Afterwards it took her an additional almost 30 minutes to bring my card and receipt back. EXCEPT now that she’s expecting a tip she stands right next to me until I’m done signing. I leave her a small tip ONLY because she stood next to me the whole time while I signed and let me tell you, her breath was FOUL! All in all, bad experience with the restaurant, service, and food. If you absolutely HAVE to come here order the crackers (they come prepackaged)...
Read moreSo I just came in to visit this restaurant during Memorial day weekend to eat. Ask the waitress how weekend was going her reply was "it's been REAL SLOW"... Me: What??🤔 Not here,.. So I know I needed to finally write this review. 😉I love this place 😋. Me and my husband work hard all week and to lighten our load, we come here about 2-3 times a week. This place is always clean, needs so up grades, but clean. Food is 99.9% fresh. I say that because I have been here in late evening, morning, lunchtime, and early evening. I have one time, late evening that my food was sloppy made. I am a picky person when it comes to my food and service. I will not hesitate to let management know or owner for that matter. I love for my wait staff to be attentive, alert and aware, of my family and guest I bring to any establishment even if we are sobber inebriated, or feeling silly. This staff has proven time and time again that they can handle anything. I could even alter my meal if there is something I don't like or replace with something else. I can't eat corn chips so they bring me flour chips and make them soft for my teeth. One of the waitress recognized me and already ordered my chips and cheese dip as we were all being seated. She also knows we tip good if she applied herself. She has received small tips and now bigger tips. Food is hot, not burnt, fresh, and nice size portion. As you can see my plate is the #42. I asked her to alter it cause I can't have cooking oil, so they take it out and cook it with salsa, and cover with white cheese. It's AMAZING 💞 my husband had the California burrito. As you can see fresh and huge. So if you are hungry, and ready for great service that is hard to come by, just stop on in. Thanks, Taqueria...
