H-E-B — Local services in Aransas Pass

This location by far has the worst HEB store manager. We had a price discrepancy issue when one of the employees, I’m assuming another manager said yes, we could have it at he price,as it was in the wrong spot and the last item anyways. She has curly hair and walks around the store dressed professionally not in uniform. I had forgotten my wallet outside and when I returned to pay the item, we told the cashier what she had said, she said it doesn’t matter what she says, the store manager has to approve it. Here came a bald guy accusing us of changing the price and asking ,why did we think we could get it at that price, I explained to him what the girl said and he said well the boss here is me and she has no say in any decisions in this store, I am going to reprimand her this instant. He said you either pay full price or don’t get them at all! No apologies nothing! It’s sad for the other employee to be treated like trash in front of customers by her superior. No manners at all and by the looks of it he’s on a high power trip! One thing is to act professional whether or not you will lower the price, and then reprimand the employee professionally and never tell your customers they have no say, if you don’t trust them, then why are they...

Another one of our great HEBs right here they help you out they even bring your that will help you out bring your food your stuff outside with you in the basket to help you load in your car they're very very awesome very friendly and they go out there and pick up the baskets one of the HEBs that dude that does that they send their workers out there to get the basket that way you won't run into him or you won't push him into somebody else's vehicle no matter what so they're out there on point retrieving I saw two or three young women out there getting them and I saw two young men out there getting them last night I should have got their names but they were getting the baskets before someone even ran into him or before someone pushed him in somebody's car now you got to admit we do leave the baskets there for someone to run into or bump into so they're out there cleaning up our mess cuz we're too lazy you know you all did it before just saying anyways they're out there helping us out no matter what so H-E-B I give if I can give them a hundred star...

Just a great hometown supermarket.Pretty much always has what you're looking for or are desiring to cook up tonight.Doesnt rely on excuses like"we're out of this or that 'cause that's a seasonal product." What B.S. They shop globally as well local to fill there shelves with the items people want and "Ask For". It's not rare to see the place packed,but it is to see long lines waiting to be checked out.Quite often you'll see a floor manager jump to the occasion of being a cashier or bagger if need be! Always friendly and helpful and welcoming,even if it's 5 to 10 minutes before their closing,such as "those last minute beer runs" or a need for a little bit more of this or that. Ample parking and more across the street if you need it.Well lit parking at night "it just feels safe"A clean environment, inside and out,always.The only real downside is: after 8 or 9pm there's only one entrance open,which would be fine if you happened to find a parking spot over there.And off you go- with everything you wanted.Quick and simple like it outta...
