DAY 2: WHAT I ATE IN LOS ANGELES 🔖BOOKMARK THIS POST FOR LATER 📍@1919lanzhoubeefnoodle: Our first stop of the day was 1919 Lanzhou Beef Noodle. This restaurant serves noodles that are handmade daily in a soup made from a recipe that has been around for over 100 years. 📍@wushilandbobausa: Next, you can’t go to Los Angeles without checking out Wushiland Boba. I especially love their mini boba pearls. 📍@hitcfestival @626nightmarket: Then, we headed to day 2 of Head in the Clouds, an Asian music festival! I was so excited to check out the festival food, which was curated by the 626 Night Market. 📍@sando.itchi: To start off, we got sandos from sandoitchi. The melt-in-your-mouth strawberry matcha sando was perfectly fluffy and absolutely incredible. 📍@the.drunkendumpling: Later in the day, we visited the Drunken Dumpling, the creator of the legendary pho soup dumplings. 📍@sundaycafe_arcadia: Last but not least, we grabbed a refreshing watermelon drink in the cutest bear bottle from Sunday Cafe. #losangeles #la #losangelesfood #lafood #lafoodie #visitlosangeles

I tried the beef noodle soup, the dry spicy noodle, the beef wrap and the pig ear. All were delicious. The soup was light and flavorful, the noodles plentiful and chewy, the beef soft and tender. The wrap had a nice contrast of savory with some sweetness. The dry noodles were similar—savory and sweet with a hint of Szechuan numbness. Not my favorite flavor but this was subtle enough that it was enjoyable. I especially liked that you can choose a wide variety of noodle types and can see the chef hand pulling them in the back.

The prices here are fair, and maybe slightly cheaper than other similar spots I’ve been to that charge $18 for a less generous bowl of noodles. Definitely see myself returning here...

Been to this place about 3 times. 1st and 2nd time had decent sized portions on noodle and meats. Loved the soup for their noodles.

Just went their for a 3rd time for dinner. They mixed up my friend (who arrived late and ordered 10 minutes after, they served his 1st to me) and my bowls, had tiny beef cubes and soggy wide noodles. The inconsistency was disappointing. Service could be slow sometimes because they just have 1 person in the front.

Isaw a pic from a friend who was there for lunch the same day and the pieces of beef were much bigger. All of mine looked like the sizes after someone took a bite.

Probably will give them another try because their soup is good and see if it...

This place does not look like much as you try to find it from the parking lot but it is one of the best hole-in-the-wall hand tossed noodles I've tried!! The place is small and minimalistic, the menu is also small as in they only have a few options. However, the flavor you get in each bowl is freakin' delicious! They hand toss the noodles right in front of you, and (depending on the spice level you pick) the broth brings it all together. Even in a triple digits hot summer day these noodles in their delicious broth make everything better.

The boyf and I were so surprised this little joint could be so awesome. Its over an hour drive for us but we are definitely...
