I don't care who you are or where you think is the best mexican food place is in humboldt county, but from my years in Mexico and southern California. This is the closest you can get to AUTHENTIC Mexican food.

To also note, over every other ralibertos PLEASE drive to this one over the eureka location due to price differences. I swear!! A bean and rice burrito is 7ish dollars in arcata while in eureka it's closer to 11 dollars. Addionally the deals that are available in arcata such as 5 any meat tacos plus a medium drink of your choice for 11 dollars isnt an option for the eureka locations. Lastly the service from the arcata location is extremely friendly and NEVER MESSES UP. Mostly due to personal experiences with the eureka location always leaving me pissed more than happy.

Thank you so much for your amazing food as I will never step foot in another eureka location ralibertos again.

Ps, I never usually write these reviews but it's gotten to the point where I'm this passionate enough to post a public review. Love you...

I had the special, green chili pork, bean/rice, horchata.

Ok so the person cooking really cares and the meat is really good. Surprisingly good, and made with love.

The counter service is comically bad, like I am participating in a training exercise.

I did appreciate them giving me the choice of how much ice I wanted in my horchata, but then I realized they didn’t have ice behind the counter where the horchata was. I had to go back and ask for my horchata after my food came, my tortillas were getting cold!

The beans and rice aren’t worth eating, and they don’t have a way to keep the tortillas warm as you’re eating (foil, tortilla dish). But the meat is worth it.

Best of all it’s open real late. It’s also very affordable.

It’s to the left of the freeway entrance/exit at the end of town, they’ve lit it up at night though.

I would definitely come here again and order meat and tortillas or...

I love ralibertos in Eureka ate there religiously before I moved to arcata I decided today that I was going to try out the ralibertos in arcata cause it's so good Eureka and by my utter surprise it was the worst food I have ever got from them to the point I will never return to the one in arcata ever it ruined my day it was the one thing in long list of bad experience in one day that just added to my my day not ending positivly the food was like it was soaked in Tabasco all I could taste was jalapenos the burrito was tiny it was just horrible I will never return and look forward to my next experience in eureka I do not recommend arcata location especially if you have the means to go to eureka it's worth the extra 12 minute drive just to experience a better quality food at least...

Wow, I’m impressed. I got a 5 taco plate (al pastor) to go and I was pleasantly surprised. The meat was very well seasoned and the tortilla seemed better than your typical. There was a generous amount of stuff in the tacos, good limes, a salsa bar with 5 or so choices and the takeaway box was compostable paper! Thank you for not using styrofoam!! The people working there were very nice and I could see them making the food from scratch while I waited. I’ve always liked the outside dinning option at this location. I didn’t look, but I did not notice horchata or any home made drinks and chips would have been nice, but I didn’t ask. After I seeing all the salsa options, I will definitely ask for chips next time.

I’ve tried giving this restaurant a try several times and every single time they disappoint me with their lack of flavor and taste. We are not that far from the border for an establishment not to understand that seasoning is an essential ingredient in Mexican food. Please take John Smith out of the kitchen and bring in someone who knows Mexican quinine and service because the food you serve is a disgrace. The meat in the image had zero flavoring and was very hard to chew. For the love of god please use some salt…

delicious drinks & food. however, at some point there was a wet dog smell in the restauarant, which made it difficult to taste the good taste of the food. the smell may have been from a mop. you order & pay at the counter. you can see the horchata & agua de tamarindo next to the counter. if you order those the cashier gives you the cup first so you can get ice at the soda fountain before he gives you the drink. it is a to-go cup for the drink even if you eat at the restaurant.
