Love the food, hate the location, which is why I use the delivery service Door Dash to have it delivered to my house.
Multiple times I've put my order in and either the restaurant approves the order and I'm guessing neglects to cook my food because the driver will show up and the restaurant HAS NO IDEA I ORDERED ANYTHING AFTER THEY ACCEPTED THE ORDER, or... They just cancel your order and take themselves off the OPEN section of the DoorDash app, even though on the app they claim to be open until a later time.
Why sign up for the service if you're not even going to use it? Why treat your customers that way?
Somehow the Oriental Buffet is more reliable than this restaurant, very disappointing.
EDIT 12/8/19 So I guess these people don't read their reviews or care about customers. Cancelled door dash order after I paid, AGAIN. Now they refuse to answer phone calls from multiple phone numbers. Unbelievably terrible service and communication. Maybe it should have stayed closed after the fire. Dropped down to 1 star, but it...
Read moreSuper friendly staff. I ordered takeout online for me and my wife. In the notes section I requested my wife's dish be made without any batter on the chicken, and they actually called me and asked if the entire dish needed to be prepared gluten free! They hit the nail on the head with that one.
When I walked into the restaurant, it looked very clean and the staff were very, very friendly and super attentive. About three different groups walked in behind me, and I saw two other staff members pop up out of nowhere to take care of them. The guy who gave me my food was super nice. He set me up to pay for my food with another employee behind the counter, who was currently on the phone. I listened to him repeatedly tell a customer he couldn't understand them because of a bad connection without showing an ounce of frustration towards the customer. Wonderful customer service, amazing food! Would love to eat here again if I'm ever in...
Read moreInitially I was excited. The hot and sour soup on the menu just has veggies and tofu as ingredients. I asked the server, who looked like a manager or owner, if I can get it without the egg. I confirmed multiple times it was vegetarian. She said yes. I got the big bowl of soup and ate a lot of it, then realized I had bit into a giant chunk of chicken. I spit it out, it was clearly chicken. They apologized profousely and I asked if I could just get my money back and they said no we can remake it. Honestly I am not going to eat that. I havent eaten meat since 2005 and I know its a preference and not an allergy thing, but how did chicken accidently end up in there? Thats sketchy. Is there cross contamination? I dont trust it. I think its not safe for people who dont eat meat and also in general because what kind of oversight or lack of sanitation or cleanliness that you can get a huge chunk of chicken accidently in a soup that...
