Archdale Soda Shop — Restaurant in Archdale

Ive been eating here for years always have loved to the food clean place friendly staff however over the past year things have not been the same. Food has not been good fries are always cold and for the past week you have had to wait 20/30 mintues for fries. Then get told well you can order tots but it cost extra why should I pay extra because you cant make fries fast enough use to I could go on my lunch break be in and out now you gotta wait 30/40 mintues for some hotdogs and fry. And the last time I was in there the girl that has glasses that works in the back was being rude to customers I had to get my refills because she was either talking to another table or just didnt come to the table i understand being busy but maybe you need some more help to take care of your customers better. This was the last time I will ever spend money there. I've been going here for years. It was the place to go. Things have changed over the past few years. I waited for someone to take my order for over 10 minutes. I walk inside and see the two who handled curb side, sitting in a booth on their phones. I ordered, paid,and told them I was outside and what car I was in. Now, 30 minutes later, four other customers have came and went. I walk back Inside and my order is sitting on counter. I asked cashier, how long had it sat there and she did not know. The hotdogs are so soggy, by time I get to car with my food, the bag is wet and about to rip open. The fries were cold. The soda shop has been a staple in our family for years and tonight was a total disappointment. The last few times we’ve been here hasn't been great but we just turned a blind because we have been coming here so long. Tonight was awful. First, they’ve changed their original crinkle cut fries to a different brand. If something has worked for decades, why change it? No one likes the fries anymore. We threw away four orders of them. Second, we got two two-hotdog specials and the buns were so soggy they broke apart.
