We ordered food for delivery, including four sandwiches, two bags of chips, and two pickles. The food arrived all jammed into one small bag (with the bottom all soggy and wet from pickle juice). It should have been a clue that there was no way to get all that food in one small bag, but the driver left before we checked it all. Lo and behold, one of the sandwiches wasn't there. I called the store and the employee who answered verified my order and then said they could deliver another sandwich or credit me for it. I said, "It's too late... Please refund me for the cost of that." She said okay. Well, my credit card charge went through at full price. I contacted JJ's customer service and I was emailed by someone from "Inspire Foods." She said I was given "store credit" and that it doesn't show up anywhere. The only way I can use it is to call the store or go into the store. So they don't give me what I ordered and my only recourse is to give them more business (and I can't even order online)??? I emailed back to say that is not acceptable and not what I agreed to. I asked for a refund for the cost of the sandwich I didn't get. Since then, she has ghosted me. She hasn't returned my emails and when I emailed JJ's customer service again, they won't return messages either. I finally went to the store a week later and very politely told them I had store credit for a sandwich I didn't get the previous week. The employee I talked to had no clue about this... She asked for another employee and she was equally clueless. (I don't blame the employees for this at all -- it just highlights a very poor system and customer service from JJs.) After showing them the email from customer service, she called someone on the phone and they went round and round for several minutes. Finally, I heard her say, "So just give him some kind of credit?" After she hung up, she said, "Okay, we put in a credit. What would you like?" I ordered a sandwich at then she said, "It comes to $10.07. So you owe 7 cents." I said, "Excuse me?" She replied, "Your credit was only for $10 so you owe 7 cents." Wow... Again, the poor employees are just working in a bad system but JJs management should be ashamed by this. Then I had to wait over 10 minutes for them to make my sandwich, even though I was the only customer in the store. (They were focusing on an online order.) The best part is there is a decal on the front window that says, "This is a Certified Training Store." This is how it is supposed to work? Is Jimmy Johns actually proud of how this all occurred? So the moral of the story is that the service from Jimmy John's is poor, you may not get what you want, and if you don't, you might not get anything at all unless you are willing to plead your case and wait and wait... AVOID THIS STORE! And probably avoid Jimmy Johns...
Read moreThe older gentleman who was at the register tonight was rude, over spoke me and seemed to be in quite a hurry although there were 0 other customers in the store. I ordered the same wrap the italian tuscan like I always do but for some reason i couldn’t remember the name. I told him it was the italian wrap and he cut me off saying mediterranean. I told him no it was the italian wrap on the menu and went looking on the menu for it. I told him it came in a wrap and he stated “the un which” I told him no it is the italian wrap it comes in a tortilla wrap and he cut me off again and and the” flour tortilla” grabbed at the wraps and i told him it doesn’t come in a regular flour tortilla , it is slightly green (again could remember the type but I order and they always get it right)in which he then huffed and puffed at me and said he can’t make it in the “green” tortilla because they cost more. I couldn’t get a word in edgewise to tell him it’s not the spinach tortilla that the mediterranean was now made in so I just let him make it after he literally said “I don’t care just make it” to the younger employee standing next to him that was trying at one point to help him understand. We also ordered the turkey bacon (club lulu) for my seven year old and was charged for the bacon because he charged me for a slim turkey plus bacon. It comes on the sandwich I ordered. He had zero customer service skills and treated me like I was bothering him coming in with my family to order food at dinner time around 5pm. You could tell the rest of the poor employees were trying to avoid him watching him side eyed because no one wanted to jump in to help or interject after he was rude to the one employee that was trying to provide good service. I also had to ask for cups that were not given to me and told my husband i had to get the cups and chips in which he had to point out to me where the chips were as if i couldn’t see them! This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant and I do apologize if I was interrupting him if he had something better to do than his job. Don’t worry about it won’t be rushing back anytime soon. Plenty of competition in the area where i can spend my money. Oh and he was logged into the cash register as Heather so no idea what his name is but I was in around 5pm on Friday August 22. I’m sure you can figure out who he is. Sorry to the other employees that work with him you all seemed to be doing a great job. One employee can ruin an...
Read moreI have been going to this Jimmy John's since it opened. Probably 100 times for myself and others in our office. I've had both delivery and pick up. Sometimes I want to get out of the office so today I ordered 2 sandwiches and noted "ASAP" pick up which is the fastest possible. I left my office about 10 minutes after I ordered as the store is literally 3-4 minutes away.
When I arrived I was immediately greeted by someone and I said "pick up for Tom". He looked at the tickets on the pending order line without luck and then I said "2 tuna sandwiches" which help him locate it. I noticed that it was at the very beginning (new order) of the many pending's in line. I thought that was odd. I sat down and waited..and waited. I noticed that people would come in and order, their tickets would be pick up and moved from the end to near the front of the line. I then noticed that the older white bearded employee who helped me initially came back and noticed I was still waiting. He pointed at the ticket and me and then it looks like they only then began to prepare my sandwiches.
Over 25 minutes after I ordered, I was handed my sandwiches by the white bearded man who had helped me. I pointed out what I observed and rather than apologize or offer an explanation, he simply said he didn't know how they were handling the tickets. I know that was a lie because as you may have read, I watched him handle other tickets and mine for the past 15 minutes while I waited. I told him politely that I didn't believe him and left. Hence this review. Service was NOT fast, especially for a place that prides itself as Jimmy John's Fast. But the lie is what prompted this 1 star service review. Be honest...
