I have monitored progress on this restaurant’s development for months. I was very pleased to see a Whataburger opening so close to my home. Today my wife and I visited at 5:30 pm to pick up a couple of burgers for dinner. At the order point I requested a #1 as a meal and a #4 as a meal. The intercom system was so poor that I couldn’t order our drinks so I told him I would proceed to the window and order drinks there. I proceeded to the window and waited there for a reasonable period, paid for my meal. I was handed a drink which I was surprised to see. I was told that it was a Dr Pepper which was acceptable but I was surprised to see since I was unable to order at my earlier attempt. My wife examined the package and informed me that there was only one burger and fries in the package. I told the attendant that I had ordered one #1 with cheese and one #4 both as meals. They said that they didn’t have that order but would prepare one. I waited in line until the #4 burger arrived. I then had to pay for the missing burger. I handed the employee cash to pay for the second burger. The employee dropped a dollar which went down between the building wall and my vehicle. I could not open my door so the employee told me that another employee would come out to retrieve the money. She said that she needed a dollar to complete the transaction. I gave her another dollar and she gave me the second burger. The other employee showed up in the restaurant and gave the attendant the dropped dollar which was placed in the register. I asked for the second drink for the second meal and for return of the dropped dollar that had been recovered but not returned to me. The attendant said that she would have to get the register key from the manager. She quickly returned with a key ring that had about 20 keys on it but she had no clue which one worked. Finally she was successful and with my dollar and drink in hand I returned home. I do hope your startup issues get resolved and that your business is a long term success. If you don’t manage some real improvements in the immediate future I envision myself driving to Roanoke for my...
Read moreApp order and they made me the wrong Burger. Good thing the app history and email confirmation shows all details. Problem one I park at curbside 5 min after my order time window said was ready and no one came out making me walk in to grab my own food. Problem two once I get home and call the store directly the manger stated she could not refund but assured me if I go through App I can get my money back she was wrong it just has you fill out info for a call back. Problem 3 I call the toll free number and same thing the nice lady on the call center stated all she can do is take down details and send it out. Now I am stuck with burger I can’t eat and they still have my money. Please avoid this location and someone from corporate please refund my money it’s the principal. Last I spent 25 plus minutes from talking to the store person who gave me bad info and speaking to the toll free line that also could not help but just write...
Read moreI came here and was confronted by these punks screaming for my wallet that I made myself. I work out but even I felt I had met my match. “I won’t be mugged again,” I thought. I realized that I needed to defend myself so I picked up a trash can.
It was heavier than I thought, but like I said, I work out. So I’m holding this trash can and I say, “Do you want to tango with me now.”
One of them politely asks, “do you have any money or what?” To which I said, “game over.” He had not seen that I secretly held on to a pice of trash, a moldy burger. One ran away, probably a germophobe.
Here’s where it gets interesting. I asked one of them for the time and he said, “game time!” I said “no seriously what time is it?” And he said “Game Time!” And I was like “DUDE, what time is it?” And do you know what, he said “GAME TIME!!”
It was getting late so I decided to grab a bite from Whataburger. Locked. FYI This location is...
