Best Famous Sam's in town. Has a long history of being a great spot for Sunday NFL football as well as Monday and Thursday night games with a long history of being a great Friday and Saturday night hot spot for dancing with great live bands and dj's thru out the whole time since it opened its doors. The Philly Cheese steak is excellent here as well as the South west chicken salad bowl...you never can go wrong with the hot wings here which are my personal favorite because you can get up to 3 different flavors on one ticket (as long as you get at least 6 of each) I am a regular here and usually get teriyaki, garlic parmesano and medium hot...they used to have mango-raspberry chipotle sauced wings which as far as I'm concerned the best ever! but unfortunately was discontinued because of the company that created the sauce went out of business. I go here at least once a week for a tall glass of Coors Light, a shot of Jack and wings and love the kicked back atmosphere. There's a pool league on Thursdays (if my memory serves me right) and it's always a happening hot spot because this Sam's is always busy day and night. I love this bar because the billiards tables are always open, pandemic...
Read moreWell, we popped in to see what makes Sam's famous and I do not have the answer, folks! đ Looks like a fun neighborhood bar, and the menu looks pretty good as far as bar menus go. Our waitress didn't introduce herself, but she was a sweet girl and outgoing. After taking our order, at 5 til 5, she brought our drinks, then she passed right past our table with her bags over her shoulder and walked right out of the front door. She did not bother to tell us that she was leaving and that someone else would be taking over and seriously walked past the table without saying anything. The next waitress just walks up to the table and says do you need anything, not introducing herself either or saying that she would be taking over and that our previous waitress had left. 40 minutes after ordering our food arrives WITH OUR MOZZARELLA STICKS, that were supposed to be STARTERS!!!!! The new waitress, who never gave her name was nice enough, but she left me for quite a while with no drink as well and I had to go to the bar for a refill. The food was okay, but the fries were overdone and brown as you can see in the photos. I really wanted to like this place LOL but unfortunately I have to say I don't see...
Read moreTonight my husband and I ate at the Famous Sams on West Valencia. My two year old daughter and 3 month old son were with us. When we received our food, my husbands fry's were unseasoned. We told our server who told the manager. His name is Frank. He came out and said the fry's looked fine and that he would not replace them. He then said that we are always coming in trying to get free food. That we came in last week and ordered 48 wings and were trying to get some free. not only was he insinuating that we are liars but that we are theifs. Which I assure we are not. I dont even eat wings! He humiliated us in front every customer there with his unprofessionalism as well as my children. Im not sure what type off people they have handling these things but I can assure you that this type of behavior loses customers and for every customer you mis treat they tell 20. Well I have ties in the food industry. I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect before. I will blog, tweet and facebook all of this People should NEVER be treated like this for any reason! I have seen managers act like this on television shows, but never had 1st hand experience....
