Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Arizona

I really like their food. Usually go there 3 or 4 times a week. I call in my order when I get off work so I don't have to wait so so long for food. They have ALWAYS taken FOREVER for food to be done! But I like the bartenders that works there and it is on my way home from work... Convenient. (This is NOT the servers fault...but you know customers blame THEM for the kitchen's performance.... ..so they get less money for tips. I have worked in food service before myself. I'd be embarrassed to work for this place!! I'm VERY upset because today I ordered a SLICE of pizza at 12:15pm. over the phone as I usually do. Got there about 10 mins later. At 1:15 I was informed by my server that my slice was JUST NOW going into the oven!! I know from past experience there they take 20 to 30 mins to get a SLICE out to you. Well by that time I said FORGET IT!! There were 5 people at the bar. (NOT eating food) No one else in the place!! Not the servers fault at all...but they definitely need to get their kitchen staff/management organized. Even if there was only one person working in the kitchen they need to be trained on how to multi-task or step up their pace!! There was a lady that called in an order to pick up. She waited at least 25 minutes AFTER she came in to get it BEFORE her order came out!! She said she ordered 2 entrees a half hour BEFORE picking it up. That's an HOUR!! WHAT IS GOING ON!!!???? EITHER they need a new OWNER/ MANAGEMENT/COOKS because it is certainly NOT working now. WHOEVER owns this place...you need to get your S - - t together!!! I'd be embarrassed to say I owned that place if...

I thought it was time to try Rosati’s pizza , we had a coupon for $3 off. Drove over just to make sure order and discount was done correctly. One bartender/waitress for 12 people. It seemed she was handling things, calling regulars by name. Then when people came in I could see problems. One person was told their order would be up soon, he waited 15 minutes and it was waiting in the warmer all along. Then I was told they lost my ticket and wanted to know if I still wanted my pizza. The cooks had been singing and ringing the counter bell. At least they were having a good time. Received a free beer and finally a pizza. She opened it for me , looked good. Drove home and it wasn’t the pizza I had ordered. I am not recommending Rosati’s Pizza. Watched people walk out not bothering to place an order, they were smarter than me. Heard regulars at the bar talking about the poor system for ordering food. Everyone has preferred pizza toppings and when you get toppings you don’t like on a pizza after you wait for over an hour. Be smarter than me, go...

Update - I've been back a few times and I'm bumping to a full 5 stars. Came in specifically for the Chicago style pizza. Takes a bit longer, but worth it. Waitress accidently put the order in wrong. Apologized and offered to make it right. They did. Everyone makes mistakes. Good people own them. Live music was good. This is the best pizza in the area.

Got off to a slow start. I was told I could sit anywhere, but then no server came. Because I was at a table near the door they assumed I was just waiting to pick up a to-go order. Once that was resolved (with a very apologetic waitress) everything was fantastic. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic, spot - this isn't it. If you're looking for a lively place with fun live music (I was there on a Saturday), then this is it. The pizza was phenomenal.
