Oh. My. God.
I was around the corner for an appointment at work, and I was on a time crunch of about an hour. We stopped by Terrace Restaurant after seeing some delicious looking pictures on Google and some good reviews. Not a single review on here can accurately display how phenomenal Terrace is, not even my own! The parking lot was busy, but the restaurant is on a golf course so we figured it was likely golfers, and to our luck it was. We asked the gentleman at the front check in desk for the golf course if he thought 1 hour was achievable, and he stated he thinks it could be but we can check in with the bartender for a more accurate answer. The bartender was above and beyond, amazing at what she does. We didn't catch a name, however her personality up front is warm and welcoming. She confirmed that an hour was achievable and instructed us on how to place and order. She told us to sit wherever and she would bring the food out (she was the only person I could see back there other than the guy in the kitchen).
I ordered the brisket sandwich, my fiancee got a double double. This brisket was the largest brisket sandwich I have ever had. The meat was fresh and tender, BBQd to perfection 👌. It was absolutely smothered in sauce, which was also incredible to dunk the fries in. The burger was a perfect medium rare. It was juicy and fresh, with a heaping pile of the freshest lettuce, juiciest tomato's, and a savory cut of cheese. The fries for both plates were crunchy yet soft, and seasoned just right! And we were even given a fresh fill up of soda in to go cups on our way out.
The most amazing part, knowing we were on a time crunch, we were back in our car in just 25min, start to finish.
We live an hour west, however this above and beyond experience has already given me the itch to go back again, and we just stopped there earlier today!
15/10 a must stop for lunch or dinner, or even a few rounds (the course was...

We had the Nachos and the top of the Nachos were good but under the 1st layer, there were just chips, no cheese, or other toppings. And there were refried beans spread on the plate??? Weird, but ok. I had to go track down someone who would seat us and give us menus, which ended up being the lady who took our orders. But to order, I again had to go track her down and order for our drinks, and then when we were ready to order good, I had to track her down again. Then she brought out the nachos, which I shared with my son. She came back to check on us 15 minutes later, and we had been out of drinks for a while. She didn't offer to refill our drinks when she brought us our food, which also took forever, and we were the only ones there when we got there. I would understand if she was the only one working and it was busy, but it was not even a little bit! Then, when I needed to pay, I again had to track her down to pay. I could have very easily left without paying, and she probably would have never noticed. The only reason I stayed was because I was measuring some areas for decorations for my brother's wedding, which was there. Thank god they aren't the ones who provided the food for the wedding. This is the reason I waited to comment as well. I guess if you're retired and golfing and buying alcohol, you may get better service?? When it was the Terrace Restaurant, it was good food and service. ...
Read moreThe setting is cool and the specials and happy hour are creative. You have to keep in mind that this bar-grill is located inside a golf club and to me, at least, it shouldn't be compared to a typical restaurant. Drink and app prices are reasonable. We had great wait staff service - friendly and attentive. The food is typical pub grub - somewhat disappointing. My "Philly" steak sandwich was bland and dry. The Grande Nachos order was very large and served with a scoop of guac and sour cream, shredded beef and a spicy dipping sauce - pretty tasty. If you go with the right mind set you'll enjoy...
