We were greeted immediately after coming in the front door, we sat ourselves as instructed to do. Smiled and said hello to the bartender as we walked passed, was returned an eyeroll and dirty look. All but 2 dining tables/booths were empty, same greeter (very young girl) cleaned every table but ours then proceeded to to take our order for drinks. We watched another table who arrived about 3 min after us receive drinks immediately from bartender, she then proceeded out the back door. Upon her return she was back to the table talking while our server let her know our drink order was waiting, again the eye roll and what appeared to be some choice words, she still finished the conversation before returning to her duties. Mixed drinks were poorly constructed and lacked any garnishments, and tasted unbalanced (took 12 min to receive). Food eventually arrived and was good! There were what appeared to be ‘the regulars’ sitting at the end of the bar, they were loud, entitled and the only ones receiving service, and their conversations about the place where not the best (speaking about the owner and how they refuse service from him, only wants a female bartender) which is fine, but the loud ‘everyone listen to me, I’m the most important person’ attitude and near yelling to ensure it was heard through the establishment was very off putting. In the mean time we were looked at and treated as an inconvenience. As my first time there, I can only compare this to ‘the Gym’ in the atmosphere and people. I wish I could give names, but not person introduced themselves, checked on us, refilled drinks, brought waters, or thanked us for coming in! We were there before shift change and that was from both shifts! There was, however a blonde lady who was out on the floor towards the end engaging with the customers, her service and the quality of food were good, but not enough to return. Sadly we hoping for a new neighborhood establishment that was fun and welcoming and this, unfortunately, is not it. I’ve read other reviews and this seems to be an ongoing feel of the place, sadly not addressed or cared enough to address properly to ensure a welcoming...

Read moreLiterally I wish I could give this a lower review, but they did have pretty good food so I can't complain too much, I guess. My issue was with the bartender. I came on Wednesday night at 7, my mistake for being new to the area and not knowing that it was trivia night. I just wanted a cool place to hang with my family. Nope. The bartender was so disrespectful. For someone working on tips, you'd think you'd be nicer. I asked for drink recommendations for something sweet made with rum. She scoffed, grimaced and said "Rum? Nothing is good with rum. Unless you get Malibu rum but that's coconut." Okay? Like mojito, rum and punch, you can do anything. Beyond slamming drinks around, scoffing endlessly because we had the nerve to eat at the bar, I asked the bartender again for a drink recommendation. There was a man right next to me and I asked what he made, and she goes, "Ugh, what drink? Where? I've made three I don't know what drink you're referring to." Ma'am, you made one drink in the last ten minutes. Chill the heck out. Terrible attitude, ruined my night. Lucky my father paid so she got a tip, because otherwise I wouldn't have left one. Maybe learn bartending etiquette:...
