Very friendly staff, Ark City, KS Long John Silvers was mostly empty though not devoid of warmth. The ladies there were very welcoming and patient while we figured out our orders. The food was excellent, though if you're looking for anything that isn't fried, I'd try red lobster. The prices were astonishingly low for the amount of food you get. I may be a bit biased on this one but we absolutely love Long John Silver's and it serves as a treat to the wife and I on occasion. It had been awhile since I found a Long John Silver's to visit and this was an opportunity my wife and I anticipated during a recent trip back to our hometown. She enjoyed a couple pieces of their deep fried fish with fries and a iced tea, while I enjoyed my favorite clam strips with green beans and a soda. The food was prepared very well and served in generous portions.
