I am a regular customer who regularly spends $20 to $30 on getting coffee drinks for the family. Today, I asked for an empty cup. You see, I have a toddler who is a little guy. I was going to give a few sips of a drink. I have got the kids drinks in the past but they are overkill for him. After my $20 coffee purchase, I was told the small empty cup would be $1.09. That's right, over a dollar for an empty cup. I get there is some cost associated with the cup. It is pennies, not dollars. They want me to spend the big bucks on a kids drink that I will throw 95% of it away. I politely told them no thanks on the cup and drove away. It is sad that a business will put making a buck over the value of a good customer. There are 2 other coffee shops in Air City.
