Danielitas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Arlington

Had a late lunch. The restaurant was almost empty at 2:30 and the other couple left before we ordered. The waitress was friendly and capable, but extremely inattentive. We ran out of chips and soda before our food was served. When ran out of tortillas for the fajitas and I had to get up and walk over to where another server was seated checking her phone. Our server was in the room but had her head down over her own phone so I didn't see her behind the bar. I asked for flour tortillas, she went and got our waitress and told her we'd requested corn tortillas.

Our server took empty dishes twice from the table without asking if we were finished, wanted desert or the check and didn't stay long enough for me to request it. I had to flag her down to ask for it and I have no idea how long we would have waited for her to come get it because I caught the manager's eye after about 10 minutes and he took it to her.

We were using a 25% off the total bill coupon with no restrictions and she didn't know how it worked so she had manager came over. He explained that they did not intentionally participate in this company's coupon program but that he would honor it anyway. Later the waitress came and suggested that for the coupon to be honored we would have to order two entrees and two sodas. There are coupons that have that kind of restriction but this was not one of them. She wanted to argue about it so I told her to ask the manager to come over and I would talk to him. She went to the table where he was meeting with someone and apparently he told her to honor it and to leave him alone.

The best fajitas in town! Also love their tortilla soup and their flan is the best I've ever had. I love going here and also ordering take out to take home and eat with my husband on date night. They have delicious breakfast omelets served with beans and tortillas and salsa at a reasonable price and the people who work there are like family now. They are always glad to see us. We've been going there for 15 years. I didn't know i liked Mexican food until our friends invited us to go with them. I would order an omelet because i never had anything spicy before. Especially for a 100.00 tab for 4 at lunch. No drinks. The lack of traffic at lunch should have been our first clue. The racist waitress? No need. We were polite.
