Danny's Tacos — Restaurant in Arlington

Interesting place. Inside a gas station i missed that part so i drove right by the place.

Well i can definitely say be prepared for anything based on it being in a gas station. I can see why now a reviewer said they can't catch the place open. I almost thought they were closed. No one was up front i just happened to hear voices in the back.

I ordered 2 tacos and that's all i got. No sauce/ salsa so I went back in and was told you have to ask for it because most people don't want green sauce. Does that mean they only make green sauce??? Like what sauce do you have? I couldn't quite make out what he was saying exactly but that seems odd that they wouldn't automatically give you sauce with tacos. If that's not the case then have the cashier ask the customer if they want it but her English wasn't very good. I was asking questions and she had to go ask him to come ask me what I wanted. He came and told me they were short staffed and out of tamales so that was disappointing. I think they were out of something else but I can't remember what it was.

the tacos come with cilantro and cooked onions which is different from other places that give you raw onions with the cilantro now. I gave them the score that I gave because it's good so that's the only thing keeping them afloat is that the FOOD IS GOOD....just those 2 little tacos were impressive but the customer service is lacking but it's a gas station you can't expect five star service. I think he means...

I drive over 45 minutes to try this place that was recommended. No one was at the counter ad I waited. I finally said hello and she moved and rinsed her hands with water and came out with her hands dripping wet. I asked if I could order one taco and a burrito, I gave her the money plus a tip and then after touching cash and giving me change, she walked back to the sink turn the water quickly on, placed her hands under for one second and then proceeded to prepare my food. I said excuse me are you going to wash your hands with soap. She said why? I said because that’s the law and you just touched money. I she stood there and I said I’d like my money back please because what do you mean why wash your hands with soap. Disgusting and a waste of my time. Don't eat here especially she doesn't follow...

I have gone to dannys tacos for years now, both his and his wife's location, I've never once been disappointed in their food. Danny has even delivered tacos to my house before(I had just ordered and it started pouring down rain and he knew I had a newborn at the time). When my husband proposed we knew without a doubt we wanted Danny to cater our wedding. And I'm so glad that we did. Danny and his team went above and beyond to make sure the food for my wedding was amazing. And that everything went smoothly. Everyone absolutely loved the food, like I knew they would. Thank you so much to Danny, your wife, and your whole team you brought with you. If you need catering or real street tacos for lunch or dinner definitely call...
