GYRO STOP — Restaurant in Arlington

Our original destination was Panda Express but saw the long line and my partner and I decided to try this place. Right when we got in, it took a few minutes for the guy to come take our order and noticed he was sitting in the back for a bit as he watched us come in. Once he came out from the back, we ordered. He then took the order from the party behind us and instantly starting working on their order. He said outloud, "I'm ringing their order up first." We were confused and the party behind us was very confused as well. After that party left, the guy started working on our order, very slowly. He did not ask us if we wanted certain things on our pita but overall, the entire time, he only said a couple of words to us. He also labeled our pitas incorrectly. It seemed as if this person was having a hard time as if he just absolutely did not want to be there. We were extremely nice to him, but he was just very uninterested in having to do anything with his job. We're not sure what was up with putting the party behind us, infront of us either. The food was not great all and my partner could not even finish his food as he started to feel sick afterwards. Today (9/13/2018) was my first visit to Gyro Stop located in Arlington, WA. I can promise you that their Greek Fries are FANTASTICALLY DELICIOUS!! I split my order of fries with my grandson, he was just humming & moaning while eating both his Felafal and his fries!! I'm so stuffed from my half of the fries that I can't even sample my Beef & Lamb Gyro (also known as the Traditional). I'm fairly sure that I'll be adding another review for both my Gyro & my dessert of Baklava!! Thank you guys!! The BEST Greek food!! Oh!! Their prices are also AMAZING!!! Stop in, you won't regret it!!

If you haven't been here & your a fan of Greek/Mediterranean delicacies ... I (and so many others) HIGHLY recommend these fellas!! I FINALLY had enough room in my tummy to eat MOST of my Gyro (I warned ya'll that I'd be adding to my review once I tried my main course! LOL ... the Beef & Lamb Gyro (also known as the "Traditional Gyro" was SO DARNED DELICIOUS!!! I really thought I knew what Gyros tasted like. And then I went here. This was delicious. The person inside was so friendly and nice and he told me that I had to wait a little bit because the meat wasnt fresh enough and he wanted me to have the FRESHEST stuff. He said he cooked the old meat like 20 mins ago and it was a bit too dry. He said that was NO way to eat Gyros. I watched him cook and season it and put it all together. While he was putting together my food he gave me a sample of the meat because he wanted me to try it fresh off the grill. It was SO rich and flavorful and juicy. He really seemed like he cared about what he was doing and how he was cooking which is hard to come by in food places. No one really cares about anything. And he gave me a HUGE portion of food.
