DRINKS WITH A SIDE OF RACISM!

I wouldn’t recommend this bar to anyone that is a person of color, they for sure will make you feel like you don’t belong.

I went there to celebrate a girlfriends birthday, when we walked in the bouncer rushed to the door to check our IDs and provided us with stamps.

After ordering our first drinks with the server Melinda, a gentleman came from the back kitchen asking if my I’d was checked. He asked me instead of confirming with the server. I showed him my stamp and offered to show my ID again. He declined.

We then headed for our table and ordered appetizers. After about 45 mins our server Melinda came by to check to see if we needed anything else, we ordered more drinks and more appetizers.

Not even 60 secs later she came back to the table Advising us that the bartender by the name of Lauren told her to tell our table that there is a 2 drinks per hour limit.

I then asked if they had informed the other patrons as well, that’s when Melinda became quiet and wouldn’t answer other than she was being told to only inform our table. I looked around and asked if it was because of my race. She refused to answer other than state the bartender Lauren and bouncer have issues with black people and there are more accepting bars nearby.

I decided to cancel any pending food/drink orders and leave at that point.

Melinda did apologize and told me she felt bad but it seemed like a common occurrence at this establishment.

I’ve called multiple times to reach a manager but they aren’t available.

The pics do not do this place justice, it is a must see!! Clean environment with great energy and a very friendly and entertaining staff. Fantastic selection of food and beverages and very well spaced (yes spaced, not just placed) pool tables and darts if you want to play or just watch others play. Awesome sports bar to cheer on your favorite sports team (Go Hawks!), with TV's everywhere, you won't miss a thing! Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you will be glad you did!

Update: on our second visit, we ENJOYED a fantastic meal. Yep a good meal in a Bar! This is not your fried up quick and slap it on a plate fare. They offer a nice range of food items, that are fantastic. My fiance ordered biscuits and gravy and shared and I have to admit that their chef did a great job. Me I had to try one of their burgers and I was not disappointed. They have a special sauce, that they make and it wasn't only wonderful on my burger, I had to ask for extra so I could eat it with my tatters tots! I have to admit, I love a good burger and sadly they are hard to find. I just wish I lived closer to this place but whenever we are near here, we will be stopping in and eating. Our waitress was awesome. She had such a good attitude even though it was late at night and the person I was with was asking a million questions about what was on the menu at that hour. She must have told him five times that only fried food was available after 11:00 p.m. but still kept a smile on her face and kept her composure. Atmospheres lacking and I think it's due to the rooms being split up so much. It looks like it used to be a restaurant so there's different sections throughout so it's not a very open bar. Separate rooms for pool another for darts and another for lounging. Bar is small and it took forever to get anyone to notice us to find us a table. Bathrooms each have baby changing stations which is perfect for a bar right? The parking lot seemed awfully busy and congested and there was only one good way to get out but we had to wait for a lineup of people just hanging out with their car in the middle of the lane not caring about holding up the crowd. Cool building on the outside not so much on the inside only fried food after 11:00 p.m. and that wasn't even good. We'll have to go back during better business hours to get a decent meal and make...
