Gave them 3 opportunities to change my mind. But, yet as others have posted the service and the give a care about customers is at an all time low..too bad the pizza is eatable but swallowing the service is laughable at best. Ordered online and tried delivery the first time, took almost 2 hours from order time with no updates or notifications of what was happening. Until my wife reminded me we ordered dinner and I had to call and find out, and the response was 'we are busy.' The second time, Delivery again and only took an hour and thirty min from order time, and again was told again 'we were busy.' ( I did not leave out sorry, because we have yet to hear that) third and final time. Skipped delivery because hey they are "busy", so went to go pick up it up at the estimated time only to be told it will be 15 more minutes. While watching 3 different other customers walk in and out with food. Then after waiting for 30 more minutes finally getting the pick up now at 60 min from order placed, asked the person at the counter for a refund, and was told no we don't do that 'we are busy.' Well, I hope that there are others that will put up with them to stay "busy" as we will not. I would urge those to reconsider supporting a place that can't either plan properly for busy times or just give a care at all. So I will say it, SORRY, you are busy but everyone is busy. Learn how to approach a business with some sort of accumen to best use your people to handle those things. Good luck, and I hope you do actually learn from mistakes and...
Read moreEDIT (after second visit): I stand by my original review, but with a couple of additional notes.
First, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, took the time to ask me if there was a particular type of pizza I'd like, and then made it quickly. Great job. Second, fresh pizza at Pizza Factory matters. New pizza has a crispy crust. Older pizza has a soft crust. The fresh is significantly better, but still somewhat lacking. Bonus note: there were more pizza choices available on the second visit than on the first.
Original review follows.
After only my first visit, it's much too early for me to make a definitive judgment about the Arlington Pizza Factory. I do have some impressions however.
On the Portnoy 1-10 scale, the pizza is a 5.3. I.e, if you're in the neighborhood, it's worth a visit but not worth any additional travel. The crust is the high point and the sauce is the low. The toppings are ordinary. High marks for a nice crumbled sausage though.
This is, to my knowledge, the only seven-day-a-week Pizza buffet in Snohomish County. Bravo for that. Sadly, the buffet was rather limited while we were there. There weren't many pizzas to choose from (there were NONE available for a short while) and the salad bar, while utilitarian, was on the smaller side.
With all that said, it's tough to judge some places after a single visit, so I will reserve the right to edit this review at a later date. For now though, I consider The Pizza Factory the perfect...
Read moreI will say that the pizza is not terrible but, not great either but sort of reminds of Domino's but, slightly better and , the wings are pretty good. I am originally from the East Coast and used to jersey shore style pizza. So honestly, nothing has really matched what I've gotten from back east since I moved out west. I really do like their wings, though, they are good and meaty with a lot of sauce. However, service wise they, are consistently late on deliveries. This is now the second time that, I have ordered delivery from the Arlington location, and it has been over 10 minutes late. I call and, all I get is there on their way. As a small business, they should do better by their customers. Simple things like having a delivery order being delivered on time, and if the time given is not realistic, send an email or give a phone call to the number listed to let them know that they are super busy and it potentially could be later. If they want to contend with places like Domino's or Pizza Hut, or any other place that delivers then, they need to have better customer service themselves. I have yet to eat in person at the location, but, their reputation so far for delivery absolutely sucks. The other thing that I noticed, is that they only respond to good reviews, and don't respond to bad reviews. So, I am not expecting any sort of feedback from pizza factory because they're too afraid to comment on a poor reviews to fix what lags in their service to make them better as a...
