Royal Panda — Restaurant in Arlington

2 days ago I ordered the Pu Pu Platter for my entree. Everything had this unusual flavor to it; with each item tasting like the last. The fried shrimp, the egg rolls, the cho cho beef, the crab rangoon and the chicken wing all had this weird taste. I only tasted a part of each of them. The only thing that didn't taste funny were the ribs. My sister ordered the spicy pork fried rice. She complained that the pork was overcooked and that it wasn't spicy enough. I suggest that she send it back and have them remake it but she was too shy to speak up. She said they put one pepper in the rice and it wasn't spicy at all, however she loved the flavor of the rice. She just picked the pork out of it and set it aside. The cashier was our waiter and he seemed to be bothered and annoyed by each question we asked. We were the only customers in the restaurant at this time so I didn't understand the attitude. He did have customers periodically coming in to pick up orders to go; which he seemed to be cordial and pleasant to. I swore not to return to this restaurant again; it was not my cup of tea. I didn't like the food and I didn't like...

A lot of bang for your buck. Deserves a higher rating on Google, at least from my experience there. For dine-in customers: they aren't trying to impress you with ambiance or win some kind of award. The table and seating was very clean, the walls could use a good scrubbing. Probably some people take issue with wall cleanliness, but I don't. Basically just a restaurant that has seen a good amount of traffic. Very casual and friendly atmosphere with good old fashioned Chinese-American food at fair prices. The Thai Tea was tasty, fried rice was delicious, I could complain ever so slightly about the flavor of the Mongolian Beef but that's only because I'm a super snob when it comes to Mongolian Beef - even at very expensive restaurants they don't get it perfectly right. The average person would not think twice, the beef was cooked perfectly with the right amount of sauce and vegetables. Egg roll was perfectly fine and flavorful. Overall Royal Panda did a great job. 5 stars because this restaurant met my expectations: didn't overcharge, food was good and tasty, and service was friendly...

I usually you don't write comments about businesses, but this is my 2nd horrible experience with the place. 1. It takes about 45min-1 hour for your order to be delivered. 2. they don't give you actual receipts, they give you some hand written scrabble. Soooo. 1st experience they over charged me, when the guy got here to deliver the order that's when they gave me some hand scribbled mess, that show taxes or anything, so i just cut my loss and said ok. TODAY I order food, and long story short they didn't deliver what I ordered. I called up there to rectify the situation and they essentially called me crazy telling that the shrimp was there it just "looked like the chicken" and the didn't include my 2nd piece of cheesecake which I am sure I paid for. THen they went stupid as if they couldn't understand what I was explaining.......needless to say, I WILL NEVER ORDER...
