Subway — Restaurant in Arlington

Went in to get a Chicken-Bacon Racnch footlong on herbs & cheese, toasted with some veggies. The sandwhich was pretty good which is why they arent getting 1 star. It could of been warmed up longer but the employee had her headphones in, talking on the phone so she didnt hear me ask her to warm it up again. Then she just started upselling me on the usual drinks and chips, which is fine because that is what I wanted to get as well. At that point, she had asked what veggies I wanted so I didnt bother asking for it to be heated again, told her what I wanted and got that taken care of. Then I asked about the footlong pretzels they have now to get one, confirmed with her which one it was by pointing to it on the picture board. She brought it out to me on the prep trays that they make the food on, asking if that was what I was talking about. I confirmed again and then she took it to the back and heated it up in the microwave I assume. I heard some noise and then a beeping like it was done. She brought it back to me bagged up with the sandwich, and I paid for my food, and drink I went to fill up with ice and there was none in the machine. I asked her and then she brought me a scoop of ice with the metal scoop that they use to get it out of the ice maker, that only filled a quarter of my cup I then filled it with Dr pepper and left When I got home, the Dr pepper was completely flat. Which I didnt think it would be since it seemed to be carbonated when I was filling it up. The pretzel was ice cold, with no salt on it, and didnt have any dipping sauce to go with it, which was also misleading since the picture shows a sauce with it. The sandwich was good, just not as warm as I wanted it to be, but I still finished it.

This is the worst experience I have had there and I wont be returning to this one anymore. I am surprised it has survived this long since it never has any people in there besides the one employee...

There was no one in the store when I entered , I asked for a salad. I noticed there were only a couple of tomatoes left so I asked her if she had any fresh tomatoes. So she did get the fresh tomatoes. she went into the freezer with the gloves on that she was preparing my food with so when she came back, she began to prepare my food without changing her gloves again after touching a contaminated surface she got upset because I asked her to change her gloves , but she changed them. She began preparing my salad by putting the lettuce into the container. I noticed a couple of brown pieces. I asked her if she could remove those at that point she got upset she said that I was doing too much that I was giving her anxiety and I needed to leave her store. She stated that she is the manager and reserves the right to decline my services. And I only wanted my food correct and clean, but I was asked to leave. I also recorded most of this. I wish I could post the video. I remained calm, she became irate and irritated. I waited for her boss that she said was otw, but I was greeted by her boyfriend. He asked me if I had a problem with his girlfriend?!!!? I spoke to him about the situation (I didn’t have to) and after listening he appeared to understand. However her calling him, this situation could have gone so wrong for him and possibly me n it all would have been her fault. She played the victim and knew she was in the wrong the entire time. Btw her boss did show up who I spoke with also. She was professional, listened to my story, apologized for the situation and sent me on my way. Still...

I’m two bites in and let me just say this is probably the best sandwich ever!!! The customer service was excellent and the restaurant was so clean and welcoming. I wish I would’ve gotten pictures of the inside but didn’t want the gentleman that was working or other customer to think I was weird lol. But back to the food, I ordered the B.M.T Saturday meal deal on the app and only ordered this sandwich because of the meal deal and it’s my new fave!!!! Now I did see the other reviews but decided not to judge prior to my own experience. No shade to the other reviews but being courteous (I said thank you (: in the comment section of my online order) and tipped the way I would want to be tipped and it goes a lonnng way. My sandwich wasn’t skimpy like I’ve gotten from other locations, and yes I did order extra condiments and toppings but I got back from this experience what I gave first, so thank you to the young man for his kindness. I didn’t include his name in the review but did call customer service to share my great experience about his wonderful customer service today.
