There doesn’t seem to be Nigerian Restaurants in Fort Worth, so I poured over reviews at different spots in the Arlington area and settled on this place. My son is 7 and he’s very picky so I had super low expectations for him to like anything. He insisted on trying goat. I got Egusi with beef and Iyan. Jollof, plantain, chicken wing, and fish. I also got Zobo and Palm Wine.

Wow! This is my first time trying Nigerian food so I don’t have anything to compare this to. Everything has a little kick to it but not so spicy it’s unenjoyable.

My son loved the goat so much, I only got a tiny bit of one piece (only came with two pieces). The Egusi is good, the flavors are good. My only complaint is that maybe the goat and beef could’ve been just a tiny bit more tender.

Not a fan of the fish. It was dry and probably old, flavorless. She did ask if I wanted sauce but I declined, so this could be my fault šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

Some commented about cigarette tasting Jollof. Okay, it does have that smell and flavor. However, I’m pretty sure it’s a spice and/or the method in which the rice is cooked. Regardless, it’s good. It reminds me of our Jambalaya (minus the smoke taste). I’ve had better plantain but it wasn’t bad, just not fresh. I probably should’ve warned them.

The Zobo has the most odd combination of flavors and at first my tastebuds were at war with each other trying to decide if this is good. I’ve made the executive decision that it is really good, different for sure, but it works. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the palm wine. It taste like apple cider vinegar and rice vinegar and other vinegars.

The 30 min drive was worth it. The fact that my son ate and got full makes me happy because he literally doesn’t like anything. Now I gotta learn how to cook Nigerian food for him. Who wants to...

Came here to buy porridge and efo cos i heard their porridge was good, but i met with the rudest customer service from this guy who came to take order, didn’t let me finish, walked away and i was like I’m not done placing my order, he goes ā€œwhy didn’t you tell meā€ but sir, you were walking away. Then when the order was ready, i wanted to make sure my order was accurate, turns out there was no plantain, i asked why, he said they don’t put plantain and i told him that it says it on the menu that it comes with plantain and 2 choice of meat for $17 and he says that they changed the menu, red flag 🚩 and I’m like well, it needs to be updated and i just ordered from Uber eats the day before and it came with plantain. Next was the efo soup, we said assorted meat and he puts only shaki and ponmo and charged extra $5 for one piece of goat meat, the food wasn’t microwaved, the poundo was cold, the efo was tasteless, and the service was poor, the guy acted like he didn’t want to be there, charged fee for what i didn’t receive talking about menu changed, it’s crazy. If you don’t feel like coming to work, don’t take it out on the customers. I definitely won’t be coming back here for sure cos this guy made...

First of WOW! Walking in it is visually displeasing to see that it's dirty. There is no organization. Nothing complementary for customers. The cashier had an attitude. Not nice at all. (Young woman) The food is not made fresh. Instead it's left out for hours (evident by appearance) The beef (smelled bad and was so ridiculously tough) 🤢 The fufu was hotter than the efo I was served and it to was luke warm. This is not a restaurant it is more like a fast food joint and it's not even cheap or affordable. The soda was sour. We received plastic ware that broke because of how tough the meat was. There is no spice level so the efo was wayyy to spicy and they do not give you a warning āš ļø I ordered the efo with fufu and beef. They give you a metal tray and it reminiscent of JAIL (p.s. I've never been to jail just seen movies) The wrapper on the fufu was crusty at the ends and had a weird texture. I really kept trying to give this place a chance. I will NEVER eat here again. This place was nasty dirty crusty the food was old and tough (pretty sure they didn't even wash the meat) If this is your first time I would go anywhere else. This is an...
