First time at Prime Boji. We made reservations for a Wednesday date night. Arrived during our appointed time and was seated right away. Our waiter, Jeff was very friendly and was attentive through the whole evening. We had cocktails and ordered a shrimp cocktail appetizer which was prepared well and had a very nice cocktail sauce. One of our main meals were the Seared Ahi Tuna Steak served on a bed of Forbidden Rice with 2 spears of Asparagus. The Tuna steak also had a glaze sauce drizzled over it. The other main was Skuna Salmon. I asked if the salmon could be grilled blackened. The Salmon was served on a bed of Bok Choy and Forbidden Rice. The Salmon appeared to be grilled and if it was blackened, it was the smallest amount of spice I have ever had in 40 years of asking for blackened. The same glaze used on the tuna was also drizzled on the salmon. I am not a fan of glazing on blackened salmon. I thought it was very usual. We did try dessert. We had a slice of Key Lime pie. It was a generous slice, easy to share between two. All in all the meal was okay. The service was excellent. The wait times for food were not long.

Start with the negatives as there were so few. It took quite awhile to get severed but our waiter made it right and kept us informed of the situation. Nikko if spelled correct was awesome and was very intentive to our needs at the table. As it it got later the atmosphere was a bit loud but alcohol and fun was being had by a younger crowd. The meal was amazing seafood crab salad, bread crumb shrimp, Ceaser salad, and the venison steaks 9 to 10 rating especially the venison and the amazing glaze it was served with. Would definitely go back.

Came here for a party of 14 people for a bachelorette party on Friday night! Hands down the best service I have had! Ryan was amazing, from explaining and answering all of our questions about the menu, he made sure to check in on us often! The food was phenomenal, I got the salmon and loved it- the rice was different but so delicious! The view of the waterfront were beautiful! I tried reaching out to the manger at the end of the evening to express my gratitude towards Ryan the server and the chef! Overall amazing!

I have been dying to try this restaurant since we first planned our trip to Okoboji! As a future bride to be I wanted to go to a high class restaurant dressed up and enjoy some drinks and dinner with a beautiful view!!! We reached out a month ago to reserve a table of 12. With a few attempts we were able to successfully make the reservation. When we arrived our table was ready and we were seated immediately at a table right by the window large enough for us to all be seated together. Our waiting staff was truly incredible!!! They promptly got our drinks, and were able to recommend wine based off our taste. The appetizers came quickly and tasted phenomenal. The drinks were all delicious as well. With a large party and at a busy time our dinner still came in a prompt manor. I am by no means writing this review to discredit any of the waiting staff! They were all extremely accommodating.

The reason for my 1 star. As mentioned we were on vacation so planned based off Google. While in the middle of a toast to me, the bride to be. The general manager came up and told my guest, a paying customer that she needed to take a seat as she was being “rude to other guest” while the toast was being recorded we have the entire thing on video which totally ruined a one in a lifetime moment. The table next to us was starting conversations with us and joking and the general manager told us we were being disrespectful towards them by “holding knifes to them” once we wrapped up and paid our tabs a guest asked to speak with the manager. The general manager snap at her as said “what can I help you with” she replied that she wanted to voice the opinion that him interrupting us during the middle of a toast was extremely uncalled for. He was less than an inch from her face and hollered at a high paying customer and said “do you really want to do this right now?” She replied well I guess I do. The general manager continued to threaten us paying customers and shoved us out of the door. The entire restaurant was watching as the general manager screams at a table of 12 women.

After leaving we notice one guest was charged 3 times none of them being her tab amount. When she asked to get them corrected she was told it would be done. The matter still has not been corrected.

The point of this review is to say it is such a shame that this restaurant can have such amazing food, fantastic waiting staff, but be boggled down by a general manager that shoves women and hollers in their face for making a toast to a bride to be. If you are a couple looking for a date night highly recommend. However, if you’re a respectable bachelorette party that wanted to go to a high class dining instead of the bar scene.. this is absolutely not the place.

Freezing cold! Rude & Crabby waiter. Extremely overpriced. Undercooked. Advertised as upscale….. really NOT.

Had reservations for 10. Called ahead several days and was told they would be ready no problem. Waiter seated us immediately said he want divide our tickets. That was our welcome to this restaurant and several times said they were understaffed.

Told us as we ordered about all the items that were not available; which were main things people wanted.

So cold I had to go to my car and put on several layers and was still freezing cold .

Was not asked how we wanted our meat prepared and my burger was bloody red inside. No seasoning on my carrots. Just plain, boring food without much taste.

Arrived at 6:20 and did not eat until almost 2 hours later.

Will not return or recommend. Pricing...
