One of the more well-known and aesthetic cafes in this area alongside Holos. Located in a little strip mall with decent parking, the place has both indoor and outdoor seating. I’ve been here a few times but have only ever bought drinks and not pastries.
The few times I’ve been here, I’ve always ordered an iced chai latte with light ice and oat milk. Most recently, the cashier gave me an option to fill up the extra space with additional milk, which I opted for but later regretted as it made the drink taste too milky. In the future, I do also want to try it with whole milk (and Lactaid) for less nuttiness. In general, I like the chai latte and if you’re not lactose intolerant, I’m sure the original version with whole milk is great.
Interior is very nice, pretty minimal, and has cool artwork. Clean bathroom in the back and a large water jug by the entrance. In my experience, the service has been pretty quick. Occasionally will also see a few dogs pop in and out. Would return if I’m ever in the area and maybe try out...
Read moreI was looking for a place to do some work and grab a coffee and noticed a new competitor pop up, Homeboy Coffee.
Here are some of the things I loved about the cafe:
*Most importantly, the cold brew I tried was solid. Not too bitter / smooth / delicious. Need to try more of the items in the future! *For work, there are outlets all over the cafe and their 5G WiFi is super solid for work needing to be done online. *Love this kind of seating arrangement where there are two chair tables on one side // a bigger general seating area in the middle with no tables // smaller tables and wooden box seats on the other side. As well as seating outside. Allows for more people to sit all over in general!
On a Sunday afternoon, it did start to get busy as a heads-up! But parking wasn't too bad when I got there. Staff was also chill / friendly, and the music playlist was awesome.
Super welcome addition to the area. Can't...
Read moreA great vibe, the best iced latte I've had in my life, and my favorite daily spot. Be warned that there may not always be an open seat/table, because they're just that popular/great. If an empty place is what you're looking for, this may not be it. But empty places tend to not have good drinks/service. The parking lot can sometimes be lacking of a spot as well, because they're also that popular.
For beginners, I recommend their homeboy coldbrew latte. It's the most popular item. If you're looking for exciting/experimenting, the espresso tonic was a weird but interesting combination; bitter espresso shot mixed with a sugary soda water. I've yet to try their matcha/ube latte, but that is my next choice the next time I'm feeling adventurous. But I find myself almost always ordering the homeboy cold brew.
This place is addicting, be warned. Their cold brew lattes are...
