This DQ has the softest soft serve of most DQs in the area. Buyer beware, this location do not serve blizzards upside down because they cannot serve a simple cone! Their soft serve melts so fast, due to not being served at the right temperature that the "cone" gets so wet from the accelerated melting. I have typically had to drink the liquid from the hole in the bottom of the cone, when its saturated. will barely hold the shape of a cone!
As a prior daily customer, the friendly & professional crew would let me know "when they have been busy" the soft serve isn't frozen.
OWNERS WAKE UP! Your biz depends on happy customers! • Check ea. employee uses the DQ mixture only. • Verify how to properly keep the machines filled so you only serve frozen soft serve! • Make sure the machines are set at the exact temperature to keep frozen soft serve. • After that, it's time to close your business or have complete maintenance done on you machines. • Start w the thermostat! If it's broken it doesn't matter what the dial says, because it's not sending anything to have the right temperature! Your DQ is not able to deliver a good product for every customer. Your machines cannot keep up with your business. And that is an excuse, given the frequency I've paid for a NOT FROZEN SOFT SERVE I finally have gone to another DQ much further away. You must make sure your machines work & they have frozen soft serve. Its time for the owners to step up & make sure their product is what it should be! The owners need to check that every soft serve mix is the same when put in the machine! Then, this DQ has been in Arvada for many years - it's time to have maintenance on the machines that are suppose to make frozen soft serve. t serve blizzards upside down, ever! The mix is not frozen enough. I know 4 a few months the product was excellent & then the manager was fired? I drive many miles past this DQ to get what I'm paying for. My Dad always said, Men & machinery wear out! If you don't invest in your biz it...
Read moreI get that Dairy queen is probably not the best job in the world but everyone at this location needs to learn better customer service. I had to repeat myself a few times, I had to keep telling the kid to please give me a minute to figure out what I wanted but he didn't have the patience to wait so he kept asking me what else I wanted. My husband loves brownie in his milkshakes and for some reason this is the only location that doesn't know how to make a milkshake with brownie because apparently you think it's okay to serve hard, frozen brownie. We have gone to other dairy locations and they have been able to blend brownie just fine. I ordered a small fry and the fries were days old, stale very salty and drenched in oil. At first I was just given my ice cream and the kid in the window told me to have a nice night and I said where is rest of my order at? He said oh yeah right. It was made with in seconds and brought to me. Everyone doesnt look professional. Tuck in your shirts seriously it will make you look more presentable. The supervisor was wearing black yoga pants with her shirt all out, her hair was down and she just looked very unprofessional. Bunch of kids work here and I know you have to start some where but you aren't going to get no where with poor customer service. It was just a...
Read moreFirst off, it was absolutely filthy. The trash was overflowing everywhere outside and inside. I mean empty cups, paper boxes, used napkins, and melted ice cream EVERYWHERE. Secondly, I was served ice cream that was barely cold, let alone frozen. I went through the drive thru and had my head turned when they supposedly turned my blizzard upside down, as they're supposed to, to show how thick it is. I noticed that it had spilled on the drive thru counter and mentioned something, but the girl tried to pass it off as if she just needed to wipe down the top because it was too full. After parking in the shade to enjoy my treat, I took off the lid and it spilled all over me and my car. I was covered in pink and blue cotton candy milk soup. When I went inside to complain, which I honestly don't like to do, I was not only greeted with glares and dirty looks from the high school aged staff, but I was informed that their ice cream was "runny today." The supervisor eventually came out, and to her credit, was very nice and apologetic, and gave me my money back. However, the glares and dirty looks from the rest of the staff never stopped. And I still didn't get my ice cream! What a...
