I have tried a bunch of things from Elevated Pastries. This young woman clearly knows what she is doing. I understand that she has been to culinary school and worked in a couple of Denver's finest restaurants. In particular, here is what I recommend: The double chocolate chunk cookie was really good. The milk chocolate chip cookie was great at room temperature and even better warmed in the microwave. The dark chocolate chip cookie was great. I liked it even better than the milk chocolate chip cookie and found that they make great ice cream sandwiches. My husband said the snickerdoodle cookie was great. He sounded like a wounded animal when he found out I only bought one. I then had to order a baker's dozen which he is enjoying. The double chocolate brownie was good, but the salted caramel swirl brownie was even better. The cranberry almond scone was great, but I prefer cranberry orange. Maybe I could talk her into making them! She nailed the texture. The raspberry danish was delicious. She nailed it -- the pastry was great, and the filling was just the right amount sweet. My husband said the blueberry streusel muffin was great. The double chocolate chip muffin was really good. The lemon poppy seed muffin was good. For Father's Day, she did a couple of special items, both of which were excellent. The soft pretzels were awesome. She nailed the taste, amount of salt, darkness of the crust, and texture. I tried so hard to put a deposit down, but asked for an invoice for records. I sent the email on May 9th. She emailed back on May 14th after I had to send a âjust checking inâ email on May 13th. Iâm just trying to give you money so we can secure this order!! Her response was that she is a small business and doesnât check her email every day. I understand that, but if your primary mode of communication with clients is email, you NEED to check every day!!! And itâs not everyday. A whole week went by. Atrocious experience.    Read moreI sent an order request for a birthday cake 3 days before our event through the Elevated Pastries website. I asked them to call me to discuss details of decorations for the cake. When I still hadnât heard anything back the day before our event I called Elevated Pastries and a message said to send an email to get in contact. I sent an email asking them to please confirm they had my order for the next day and to discuss decorations. They never contacted me by phone or email. They left us completely hanging! Thankfully Luckyâs Bakehouse in Boulder saved the day! We had an amazing Red Velvet cake, all thanks to Luckyâs that we were able to pick up in time...
