Taco Bell app Mon 7-25-22 I did an order on their app. It says we make your food once you say I’m here at the speaker. I drive there, went to the drive thru speaker and said, I ordered on the app & gave my name. They said, drive to the window. They ask if I wanted hot sauce then handed me my food. Never said at the speaker or the window. We’re out of beef, lettuce, and tomato’s. I ordered 2 crunchy beef tacos supremes. I get home. I have 2 taco shells with a tiny bit of mystery meat and a tiny bit of cheese. Which cost over $5 now. I drive back to the restaurant, go inside and there’s a huge sign inside that says. No beef, no lettuce, no tomatoes, sorry. I ask for the manager, and she’s the one who handed me my food. I said, apparently that’s why my food looks like it does. Why did you not tell me that you had nothing to make my tacos with? She said, there are signs. I said, there was NO sign when I came thru the drive thru. She said, well there is now. So, I asked for a refund. She said, you ordered on the app, so I can’t refund. But I can remake your food! I laughed and said, How? Do you NOW have beef, lettuce or tomatoes? She said, no. I said, then you CAN’T remake my food. She said, we’re having a bad day. I said, if you would have told me at the speaker, no beef, lettuce or tomato’s , I could have cancelled my order on the app. No big deal. But since you said nothing to me, then yes, your going to make your day worse. You made me mad. So, I messaged on the app 3 days ago about what happened and asked for a refund. I still have NO refund. Arvada Taco Bell on 64th...
Read moreIt’s always so nice when you go thru the drive thru and there are five cars infront of you- and a team can get them thru quicker than another team at another location could get two. One thing I noticed is the cars in front of me didn’t feel the need to “check the bag” thoroughly ( almost obsessively) which adds a few minutes onto wait time for everyone else. This is more a neighborhood Taco Bell and Im guessing the majority of the business is repeat customers more so than tourist types. If that is the case, it’s obvious that a culture of integrity has been established- when people haven’t been shorted, or consistently have had orders messed up- most wont feverishly check bags unless a “wrong has occured” I’m not saying every order is perfect every time- but it was nice to see customers ahead of me who trusted the establishment that I was about to get my food from... and guess what.. my order was perfect. Two out of the last three times I went to the Taco Bell closest to me - when i asked for no lettuce - I ended up driving away and there would be lettuce on my taco.. at this location I didn’t order any differently than the way I do at the one by me- and my meal wasn’t only warm and tasted fresh- there was no lettuce.. and it’s safe to feel - the people ahead of me also got what they ordered and they were pretty assured that it would all be there and done correctly. Building a culture like that isn’t always easy . . You guys should be proud of yourselves and know that it’s much appreciated- I just wish it wasn’t such a distance from me - or I’d be there so much...
Read moreTaco bell just isn't what it once was! I still love the food.... when it's made right. But more and more, it seems like the people, usually teenagers, that work there, put little to no effort into earning their pay. I realize working there is hardly a dream come true, but come on! You're still getting paid to do a job, and it's a pretty simple job at that! The point I'm trying to make, is PLEASE make the orders as specified by the customers. When I ask for extra cheese, sauce or beef, and I'm paying for that extra cheese, sauce or beef, then freakin give me what I'm paying for! Make it right! Seems that more often than not, when I decide to get food there, it ends up being opposites day for the staff of taco bell. When I ask for extra cheese or whatever, they turn around and completely leave out the item that I'm asking for extra of! Also, pretty frustrating when I ask for a burrito, and all I get is a folded up tortilla that is, for all intents and purposes, empty. Taco bell managers, please start coaching and cracking down on your employees. There's no reason for this lousy service. I shouldn't have to ask the kid that's taking my order, to please make sure that the items I asked for extra items on, actually get done correctly. I shouldn't have to check every single item before leaving just to make sure that I didn't get hosed. A higher minimum wage was won, but I'm waiting to see...
