China Club — Restaurant in Ash Township

UPDATE: So I reviewed this restaurant 5 months ago and gave it 4 stars but I've been a few more times since writing the review and I have to take away a star. The food has been hit-or-miss lately. I ordered the bacon wrapped jumbo shimp and it was terrible. The shrimp was not near jumbo sized and the shells and tails were still on them! Imagine biting into a cooked piece of shrimp that is covered in batter and sauce only to find a shell in your mouth. GROSS! Also, there was soooo much sauce. It was ridiculous and sticky. The bacon was half cooked. Also, the last few times, the crab rangoon was also pretty bad. They tasted like they were fried like old grease. Chicken Pad thai was bland... no taste whatsoever. And the beef Pad thai was a weird colored beef. I've never seen white beef. 👀 pictures attached. Anyway we will be on the lookout for a new Chinese take out spot!

The service has also been really, really slow. Last time I went, I called in my order and was told to pick it up in 20 minutes. I arrived in 20 minutes went inside and proceeded to wait an additional 20 minutes for my food.

Would have given negative stars if able to!!!!!!

Ordered 2 dishes plus some Crab Rangoon. Only thing that was good was the Crab Rangoon. The Thai fried rice with chicken had very little flavor until I added a ton of soy sauce. The other was “plain low mein” which on the menu states it comes with mixed vegetables however there wasn’t a single vegetable in the container. Called to question this and was told I was wrong and the I got what I ordered however after trying to explain the menu was wrong online they told me I wasn’t using their menu. This is crazy since I was on the website for CHINA CLUB in Carleton MI. So how could I be using the wrong menu????

See the picture below which clearly shows the dish was to have mixed vegetables in it. The person I spoke with was rude and when I asked for refund she said no and the I had the noodles so unless I brought them back then no refund. I live 25 minutes from there and was passing thru when I ordered so basically the meal was a total waste of money and I will not be ordering from this place again. I’ll stick with my go to places closer to home!! Don’t waste the money on this garbage and rude...

Best Chinese food in the area. My wife Jessica and I have been eating here weekly for about a month as she finishes nursing school. It's nice to be able to order on Friday night and have enough food to eat throughout the weekend while she studies. The lady that works here, I'm guessing she is the owner is great. She remembered my wife just from calling to place orders. Last week we got our regular and there was a mistake with the fried wontons because someone else took the order, which was no big deal. The main thing that made me write this review is today when we ordered and the regular lady answered the phone she asked my wife, by name if they had messed up last weekend. My wife assured her it was not a big deal and everything was fine. The fact that the owner of this restraunt asked my wife a week later if there was a mistake when we never called or mentioned it was amazing. That is customer service and we really appreciate it. I tell everyone about China Club. Keep up the great food...
