Wolf's Den — Restaurant in Ash Township

Regrettable experience. Stopped by for a drink last Tuesday. On my way to the restroom I accidentally bumped into a portly fellow, vigorously consuming a plate of cheese fries and wearing a peculiar leather vest. Embroidered on the back was what appeared to be a human skeleton with a metal shaft inserted into.. shall we say an uncomfortable location. "Watch it A$$hole!" he snarled, not even bothering to swallow his food. "Excuse me sir." I replied calmly. "But space is limited in this quaint establishment and you seem to be occupying quite a bit of it". As I turned to walk away I was beset suddenly on all sides by a mob of feral unwashed, obese, alcoholic, middleaged, wifebeating, caucasian cardiac risks. Deaf to my attempts to explain, the bump was a simple mishap they proceeded to punch and kick me until I fell to the floor. "Das watchoo get when you F--k with tha coffins my dude" they jeered in between their gasps for breath. So heavy was their panting and wheezing I feared one or more of them may indeed be on the verge of cardiac failure. I did the only thing I reasonably could to prevent such a tragic loss of life. I rolled over and played dead until finally the blows subsided. Satisfied that I had learned my lesson, they returned eagerly to their artery clogging beverages and meals. I exited discretely out the side door. Such an irritable crowd, in poor cardiac health and prone to fits of violent rage. You'd think they would at least have an AED on the premises? Perhaps they figure they don't need one, being conveniently located next to the police station and all. Anyway, I very much doubt I will patronize this establishment again in the...

Where to start, the small town neighborhood bar atmosphere to the awesome gal behind the bar, to the locals that were in there, super inviting, drinks never hit empty before your next was up, and the food was fantastic, 1 of the best burgers I've had in a good while.
