I just moved to Ashburn and noticed this very modern, comfortable, casual looking restaurant as I was picking up an order next door. Almost like a brand new Qudoba or pie five restaurant. I had to go in and the friendly front desk staff jumped to help me right away! I asked for a menu to check it out at home. When I saw some of the prices I was a bit disappointed...
I've lived in over 40 states and I love trying new sushi places. When a sushi restaurant has a beautiful interior, new modern furniture, clean friendly staff, prices on sushi rolls are always high as well. This place was completely inexpensive.
When I came here on a Sunday for lunch, I ordered 3 rolls for 16$ from their lunch special and was expecting something like what I would get buying at a walmart. Miso soup that they brought out first was good! Then as soon as the rolls came out, I was astounded! It was set up on 2 plates, one on top of the other! It was the most decorative plate I have ever gotten at a sushi place! It was dope! I would give it 5/5 stars for the decoration alone. The sushi also surpassed my expectations and was above average quality! They try to make their sushi with more ingredients and minimal rice! Which should have made their sushi more expensive as well! Not the same as some of the 20$ sushi rolls I've had, but I've only ordered the classic rolls here.
If you want a casual, modern, comfortable place to eat and catch up with friends, or meet up with your S.O. skip Chipotle or the other new modern places, this is the place to go. The owner and staff are friendly, everybody looks very happy to work here, and try to make this place the best experience for every customer that walks through the door. Will...
Read moreMy family loves Chin- Chin cafe. We have been a regular guest since 2003. Always an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a cozy interior that strikes the perfect balance between casual and inviting. Whether you’re coming in for a quick bite or a more leisurely meal, the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The menu is extensive, covering a wide range of Chinese dishes, from classic favorites to some more unique options. We started with the dumplings and hot and sour soup (my daughter likes the egg drop). The dumplings were a standout—light yet satisfying with just the right amount of filling. The hot and sour soup had a perfect balance of tanginess and spice, warming us up for the main course.
For the entrée, we always General Tso’s chicken, seafood fried rice (a must every time) and my husband loves their wings , both of which were simply delicious.
One of the things I really appreciated was the attention to detail in the presentation of the food. Each dish was not only flavorful but also beautifully plated, making the experience feel even more special. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food.
Service was always great!. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.
Overall, Chin-Chin Cafe offers an exceptional dining experience with great food, friendly service, and a comfortable family friendly atmosphere. If you’re looking for a local Chinese cuisine in the area, this is definitely the place to go. I’ll definitely be...

I have a lot to say about our 1st time visit to Chin Chin Cafe; it was extremely unwelcoming. No one greeted us or told us their process to order food. You don't get a menu when you seat yourself and no one comes to say Hi or Welcome, here's the menu. After sitting for a few minutes, I took it upon myself to find someone with a menu. They said we had to choose from the menu and come back to the register to order and pay up front. No waitress was going to take our order or answer our question about menu items. It took us a while to sort through the thousands of items, sushi (cooked and raw), chinese entrees, plus other Asian foods. I ordered sushi which was well-prepared with a decoration painted on the plate. The taste was below average. The eel had a fishy taste. However, my friends were disappointed in the flavor of the sauces in their Chinese entrees. I went back to this place again; this time for dinner with a different friend. There was someone at the door who gave us menus and we actually had a waitress. What a difference between lunch and dinner service! However, my friend had the same complaint about her Chinese dinner as the others did. My sushi was okay; definitely didn't order the eel. Lovely lighted flower on my plate. Probably won't go back here since there are so many other better Asian restaurants in this area. Big Hint: No Asian people were eating there! I should have...
