Worst experience ever. I pull into the drive thru at 9:30. I order a chicken supremes combo w/ fries and Diet Pepsi. They took my payment, gave me my drink (without a straw) and asked me to pull up to the door because they had to cook it fresh. At 9:39, my wife called me and I let her know I was waiting for food. At 9:48 I was still waiting and she said I should probably go in. I went in and they had completely forgotten about my order. A coworker joked with the girl working the drive-thru saying "you're fired" and "you're written up". She seemed apologetic, and gave me my order. I picked up a straw and left 23 minutes after I placed my order. When I put the straw in, my drink was a regular Pepsi, not the Diet Pepsi I had ordered. The small container of fries was only half filled and tasted like they had been sitting a long time. It wasn't like they were low on fries as there were a lot sitting in a box when I walked in. The chicken was at least freshly cooked. There were no customers in the lobby, no one came through the drive thru after me, so it's not like they were busy. I was their only customer they had for the whole 23 minutes I was there. You've seen those memes that say "you only had one job"? There were four employees "working" and they forgot the only customer they had to take care of, got the drink order wrong, and only gave me a partial order of fries. If that is their typical service, it's not difficult to realize why I was the only customer they...
Read moreMy meal here was decent but not as good as the best Popeye's outlets. They only offer one style of chicken, which is somewhat mild whereas I prefer spicy usually, but most of all like to have a choice. The chicken was actually pretty good and I enjoyed it. It was juicy and had a good flavor and the crust was good too although I definitely prefer Popeye's spicy chicken and would have gone there had there been a Popeye's anywhere close. The sides however were a bit lacking, at least compared to Popeye's although I will say the dirty rice was pretty good and my wife enjoyed her slaw. The mashed potatoes, however, did not look that good and instead of red beans and rice, they just offer pinto beans. Service was a bit uneven and even though there were few customers, it seemed like it took longer than it should have to fill my order. Prices were average for fast food in the U.S. So, in my view, pretty good, but not as good as Popeye's. I forgot to say anything about the biscuits--they were actually pretty good. About as good as Popeye's and definitely better than KFC and some...
Read moreThis review is based entirely on my drive-thru experience. One car ahead of me with 2 orders. She pulled up to drive thru the window, and i pulled up a minute or less later. I then had to sit behind her for 10-15 minutes as she waited for her food. The food that was eventually passed to her appeared to be an order of biscuits and gravy. Since when did it take 10-15 minutes for biscuits and gravy at a Bojangles!!! When I finally got to the window, I asked the person to make sure my food was hot, due to it most likely sitting by the window for about 10 minutes. I then heard one of the workers complaining about having to remake my order. I pulled away without waiting for my food. Do Bojangles corporate & district managers and/or owners not provide their teams with basic training? The individual ahead of me should have been asked to pull away from the window to a designated spot to wait for their order so that all the cars waiting behind her could proceed through the line. Get your act...
